I believe the planes flew into the towers. I also believe their was some special effects when the media presented it. I beieve explosives were planted throughout many years prior to 2001 in all 3 buildings, 4 if you want to throw the Pentagon in there.

I think the plans were there, but the planes were made stronger for that event. I dont thil that was regular plans. Also the building was prepered for the "slide in".
