SAF cracked down the protestors by live ammunition. The situation in the city is still tensive, and escalating to the worse is still expected . Russia has launched a major offensive on Avdiivka. One more defining battle of the war is underway. The video shows yet another attempt to move a large armored column of Russians from Krasnohorivka to cover the northern flank of the Avdiivka front. Approximately 20 units of equipment (tanks, IFVs, MT-LBs). Part of this column was destroyed, but the scale of the offensive is epic. Avdiivka is of strategic importance to Russia, as this city is actually the gateway to Donetsk, the main communication hub in the occupied territories. In order to establish a foothold in the occupied Donbas, Putin needs to move the front line away from Donetsk. In 2022, Russian troops launched an offensive against Avdiivka, trying to deeply encircle the city from both flanks. It was stopped due to heroic resistance of Ukrainians. The battle for Avdiivka will be more fierce than the battle for Vuhledar in winter. The presence of shielded buildings in Donetsk and Yasynuvata facilitates covert actions, deployment of artillery in residential areas, and hidden operations of armored vehicles. Russia has concentrated significant aviation forces that use high-precision weapons, a large number of shells that could be supplied by North Korea and Iran. Russians are trying to create a great advantage in drones. Russian drones, along with artillery, are being used to hit the front lines, and the enemy is trying to open the way for their infantry and tanks to break through the combat formations of our troops, primarily using a large number of high explosive munitions. The main attack is coming from the south of Avdiivka. Unlike the first offensive on Avdiivka, which lasted from July 2022 to March 2023, the current attack is planned to cover the city in a much shorter arc. However, the enemy is trying to avoid fighting in the urban areas and create a threat of encirclement for our troops in the city. The situation is very serious. Fighting is underway in the southern part and on both flanks of the city. Russian Armed Forces provide support through UAV operators, destroying AFU logistics. At the end of March, assault troops managed to break through enemy defenses in the south, getting closer to the city center. By April 13, they continued consolidating in the industrial zone near the Megatex plants and metallurgical plant. A week later, reports came in of AFU infiltration groups present in the Santurinivka neighborhood, which were suppressed by artillery fire. At the same time, to the east, Russian forces conducted a mechanized assault near Stupochky and entered the territory of Novodmitrivka, bypassing Kostyantynivka from the right flank. On the left flank, Russian small assault groups continued clearing isolated positions and trenches near Berestka and Ilyinivka. Assault troops also advance northward from Stepanovka with UAV support. Consolidation in this sector will allow forming a stable bridgehead for attacks on AFU positions in Kostyantynivka from the west. At the same time, both sides are forced to act cautiously due to the abundance of drones in the sky, increasingly relying on ground drones to ensure logistics.

Jabhat Fatah Sham (#JFS), born from Jabhat Nusra after severing ties with Al-Qaeda, emerged at a critical moment: the major Rebel offensive to break the siege of E. #Aleppo districts. Aleppo was carpet-bombed in what was the largest US strike ever against Rebels (see video) - it involved a B-52 strategic bomber. Between 90 & 100 fighters were killed - the strike came one day before Obama left office, who ordered an increase of attacks in late 2016. 2 months later, after #JFS evolved into Hayat Tahrir Sham, the US bombed the Jinah Mosque in Aleppo countryside, claiming to target "Al-Qaeda" & causing a massacre with a hundred killed & wounded, incl. children. The controversy surrounding the strike - after the Pentagon first denied but later acknowledged the destruction of a place of worship - led the US to pause strikes in NW. #Syria for over one year. In early 2018, Horas Al-Din (#HaD) emerged as the new Syrian affiliate of Al-Qaeda, which included former Jabhat Nusra leaders who defected after rejecting the group's new trajectory. #HaD then became the main focus of US-led Coalition strikes in NW. I get really sick and tired of the same old threat after threat that comes out of the State Department and the Pentagon. Washington is a city that loves war, and it has built and funds an entire military industrial complex to feed its bloodlust. All the while, Washington has been complicit in the attack on our Southern border. We should be focused on putting America First and helping the people of our country in need, like in Western North Carolina, East Palestine, and Lahaina.
