Unless the patched/nerfed it you can also use the energy mine field upgrade to wipe out loads at once and still get the weapon xp if that weapon is equipped. Not as fun as shooting them all but saves a little time

I wonder if pack-a-punching weapons affects your ability to level weapons like this Everytime I did this last night I pack-a-punched first and felt like I really wasn’t getting any weapon levels even after shooting literally hundreds and hundreds of zombies
