I cannot say loudly & clearly enough-our immigration system is a complete MESS. I don't know what the answer is, but we aren't even close to finding it & OPEN BORDERS is NOT it. No consistency, tons of confusion, people forced to live off gov't-probably what you commie libs want.

The lack of proper asylum vetting has led to this. How many of the claims are denied. 80% or close, and that most likely doesn't include all the no-shows for hearings.

No way Canada is being flooded by asylum claims, Because of an iPhone/Android app. CBSA doesn’t process the asylum claims. The app does! With ZERO human interaction. Channel 4 News cover the creation and rise of hotels for asylum seekers Your reminder that it was the Conservative government that created this problem by stopping the processing of asylum seeker applications because they thought their Rwanda scheme which only send 4 volunteers to Rwanda was the solution to the UK being outside the EU with Brexit and unable to return asylum seekers back to the first country they entered the EU as we were no long party to the Dublin agreement, which in turn is the reason why so many asylum seekers come to the UK on small boats because they know that outside the EU the mechanism to return them no longer exists I.e. all of this was created by the Conservatives and Labour are now in. the process of trying to fix this, and while they've done some positive things they still have a long way to go, including doing the thing which they repeatedly called for in opposition but still haven't done in government: safe and legal routes
