The Big O (1999)

@retro_twt GOAT

@retro_twt This show was so damn cool I mean it like Cowboy Bepop meets Batman meets Gundam

@retro_twt “his name is roger smith”

@retro_twt Nothing gets you hyped for Big O than Optimus Prime

@retro_twt Anime is cool and all but honestly the toonami voice over intros made them a million times cooler

@retro_twt @saucynatt This anime is one of those deep cuts. Had to be up too late on a school day and tapped in to toonami to really appreciate gundam batman. Shoutout to big O

@retro_twt

@retro_twt Neo gotham is you?

@retro_twt Batman meets Gundam.

@retro_twt Back when Optimus Prime himself was the voice of God in Toonami & Adult Swim’s promos.

@retro_twt Toonami promos, in large part due to Peter Cullen's voice, literally helped shape my childhood in the most awesome if ways. Epic times

@retro_twt I know this show owes a great deal of inspiration to Batman overall. (It even has an Alfred with a gigantic gun.) But I have to wonder if the visual style was directly inspired by Batman The Animated Series? There's a lot of weird not all that weird similarities in style. The New

@retro_twt Why is Optimus prime narrating

@retro_twt Big O was actually tight for a robot show

@retro_twt Wish they continued the story.

@retro_twt This show had such a distinct atmosphere. Like one of those realy wild dead dreams yo can only half remember

@retro_twt Waking up early am and seeing this hit different.

@retro_twt This Trigun & Cowboy Bebop back to back on adult swim back in the day.. sheesh. We were eating so good. 🔥

@retro_twt

@retro_twt Fire anime

@retro_twt Why should I watch this? Like legit question? Any good

@retro_twt Anyone know where I can get this series on DVD or download?

@retro_twt Oh yeah! Anime Batman.

@retro_twt Aww, the voice of childhood 😆🫶🏻

@retro_twt God damn this shit went hard back in the day

@retro_twt Is this the old Toonami Big O commercial cause it seems so eerily familiar

@retro_twt We had good mecha animes back in the days 😇❤️

@retro_twt Big O - The show that asks the question: what if Batman had a Gundam?

@retro_twt It is just as fun and crazy as giant robo

@retro_twt This show combined the best of Batman, Mechs, and Cowboy Bebop.💯💯💯

@retro_twt Basically Batman with giant robots

@retro_twt Bro you’re the goat for making me relive 90s early 2000s anime again

@retro_twt This looks really cool.
