62th day of our movement, the Sit-In at NPC, Islamabad wraps after a long march and a continuous Sit-In for more than a month in the harsh weather of Islamabad. Our movement was successful in the sense that it mobilized the Oppressed Baloch from remote and unreachable corners of Balochistan. Who had been subjugated for long now. While the administration of Islamabad and State vowed to continue it's Genocidal policies in Balochistan reflected through it's behaviour towards the protesting families. And We, as a nation have vowed to Resist for the sake of survival. This movement has not ended, but has entered a new stage, where it has become our collective duty to stand against the inhumane policies of State in Balochistan. Soon the Caravan of the #MarchAgainstBalochGenocide will be heading towards Quetta.

This afternoon I spent some time over at Parkesdale Farms in Dover to discuss the impacts of the recent cold snap on our farming community. Food security is national security. As a state, we have a duty look out for those who do the work to put food on the table and assist them in hardening their crops for when disaster strikes. I’m grateful to the Parke family for showing me around today and for all of our farmers who are putting in long hours to combat this recent weather and protect our food supply.

Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Others Arrested: Dead Bodies Seized, Women and Children Attacked in Brutal Pre-Dawn Crackdown by State Security Forces The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) had announced a sit-in yesterday in Quetta, demanding the release of its central committee member Bebarg, his brother Hammal, Dr. Ilyas, and others who have been forcibly disappeared, as well as the release of Baloch woman Saeeda and several others. From the very beginning, the state responded with violent repression. Police arrested protesters, security forces escalated their assault with baton charges, tear gas shelling, and mass arrests. Networks were shut down, and a search operation in Saryab was launched to hunt down more protesters, whereas firing took three leaves and several others injured. Then, today, at 5:30 AM, security forces carried out a brutal pre-dawn raid on the sit-in. Baloch women, children, and peaceful protesters were subjected to extreme violence. Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Others Arrested: Dead Bodies Seized, Women and Children Attacked in Brutal Pre-Dawn Crackdown by State Security Forces The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) had announced a sit-in yesterday in Quetta, demanding the release of its central committee member Bebarg, his brother Hammal, Dr. Ilyas, and others who have been forcibly disappeared, as well as the release of Baloch woman Saeeda and several others. From the very beginning, the state responded with violent repression. Police arrested protesters, security forces escalated their assault with baton charges, tear gas shelling, and mass arrests. Networks were shut down, and a search operation in Saryab was launched to hunt down more protesters, whereas firing took three leaves and several others injured. Then, today, at 5:30 AM, security forces carried out a brutal pre-dawn raid on the sit-in. Baloch women, children, and peaceful protesters were subjected to extreme violence. The authorities forcefully seized the dead bodies that protesters had planned to offer funeral prayers for today. BYC Organizer Dr. Mahrang Baloch, along with many others, was dragged and arrested.

BYC condemns the use of force against the family members of Zaheer Baloch and other peaceful protesters in the strongest terms. Today, the 11-day sit-in protest by the families of forcibly disappeared Baloch individuals was attacked by the forces when they were marching towards the Red Zone. Elderly men, women, and children were subjected to brutal violence, including live firing. Dozens of protesters were taken into custody and shifted to unknown locations. For decades, the state institutions' response to peaceful demonstrations has been violence and intimidation. The forced disappearances and genocide of the Baloch people continue, and when the families and civil society protest, they are treated with cruelty, beaten, dragged, and imprisoned. After facing severe crackdown, the protesters have reorganized and continued their protest. We urge the Baloch and Pashtun people to join the protest as soon as possible and call on the judiciary to intervene in this matter to safeguard the right to peaceful assembly of these already victimized people.

🚨✊⚡️🇵🇰 - Early this morning, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) carried out attacks in several areas in Pakistan’s Balochistan province, including Quetta, Kharan, Turbat, Surab, and Nushki. According to reports, a police SP and a Deputy Commissioner were abducted during these attacks. Including 10 security personnel fatalities. Additionally, BLA militants have claimed that they broke into vaults at Faisal Bank and four other banks and took away large amounts of cash. As a result, there are concerns that millions of rupees may have been looted from private/national banks. Several BLA militants were also killed in clearance operation, as per the visuals that came out.
