Tremendous eyes from Kyle Hamilton as the quarters safety in Cover 8 He sees the 2 from his side (Shakir-10) go inside & under, so he gets his eyes to the other side of field, picks up the 1 on a dig, eyes the QB for the throw, then drives accordingly

"Pick" pressures are an excellent way to attack protections from mugged fronts. Here, the Gators target Miami's left Guard. The mugged LB works to the near hip of the Guard while the D-linemen step vertically to get the lineman in position. Once the LB makes contact, the DL will wrap. The goal is to get a 2-for-1 on the LB and create an alley to the QB. Interestingly, it's usually the "pick man" that comes free in these types of pressures. A “tip” is when you catch the ball and throw the ball during the same jump.. you’re not allowed to be in contact with the ground and the ball at the same time on the defensive side of YOUBall and MANY other driveway basketball games
