That was a stupid move from the biker's side. Why would anyone want to cut off a vehicle that's clearly trying to turn and that too on to a main road? Unfortunately, he paid a hefty price. 😓
This is a very bad habit of bikers. But its an avoidable situation.
What else could car driver do? They slowed down , scanned, but the biker was in hurry to die. I don't think car driver could have done anything better.
The car driver could see the biker in his mirrors. Nobody should come infront of us without our knowledge. If car needs to turn left or go straight, he needs to check his right first and he should expect the biker.
100% Biker’s fault but situation could have been avoided by car driver. But he should not be blamed.

Why do bikers ALWAYS do this? Overtake and then turn towards the opposite direction? If they have to turn right, they overtake from the left and do it. They know they are the smallest vehicle on the road and will never be held at fault. Until this rule is scrapped, it will go on.
