Humility about our (lack of) understanding of this post-pandemic economy suggests that it's worth being a little less model-driven and a little more data-driven.

Struggling with economic concepts? Bitcoin Nation simplifies the foundations of money and explains how Bitcoin can address issues like hyperinflation and economic instability. This accessible guide is perfect for beginners looking to understand the potential of sound money.

You nailed it when it comes to the short supply of humility when it comes to Economists. But with humility doesn't just come "I am uncertain about the future", but a willingness to actually look at ideas that challenge the entire edifice of Economics. For example, I look forward to talking with your about the Information Matrix:

I was hoping to see the shirt on TV. #Disappointed

making predictions is hard, especially when you're talking about the future

@economeager Well said Justin.

humility is an awful strategy for getting invited back on air ;)

Learn MMT and heterodox economics. Less of the mumbo jumbo math , more of the tight accounting, monetary realism and understanding of how firms set prices. 😉

Rather like in old fashioned institutional stockbroking, perhaps economists should divide themselves into analysts and salesmen.

Can I be arrogantly confident of my humility? (I may have more reason to be humble than most)

🙏🔥All scientists should embrace humility and uncertainty.
