caves were smaller and rarer due to their size, i don’t really miss it that much. seeing new caves at first was breathtaking

Kinda wish they kept some of the old terrain generation so it was always just constant mountains and hollow earth…

Don't get me wrong, I love to play 1.12.2 Minecraft with mods sometimes, its nostalgic and fine, but I definitely do not miss old caves, or nether, or whatever, we've got so much better stuff now!

No. We all begged for the caves to be better we got that. It took years we are not complaining. If YOU miss the caves in older versions go to those versions
