For the past two days, attempts were been made to incite people, and the protest held here was compared to those held in Bangladesh and Nepal. This smells of a conspiracy behind the protest. Woke are the worst kind of parents. They don't think twice about putting their children at risk if it serves their ideological purpose. Okay, agreed, you want to do a peaceful protest, and you believe it is a peaceful protest. But what if rogue elements from the protest attack the police, and they resort to a lathicharge and tear gas to restore order, triggering a stampede? Who will be responsible for the children then? It will be your responsibility, a direct result of your poor parenting and failure to assess the risk of what you are doing, or worse, knowing the risk and ignoring it anyway. You will be responsible, but since you guys have no insight, I know you will surely blame the state.

The people were actively told that if you built up a NIC record, you will get the appropriate state pension, but the people were not told that changed, because the change was quietly buried over time within acts of parliament and not referred to. Did government not learn from WASPI? At least when women had their state pension age changed, it was widely promulgated. This though, changed because the government wanted you to think that in the future that your state pension would be a privilege, and not an entitlement. Because then of course, the state can tell you that you don’t get one, and it then has a tighter hold over you. The state did not tell you when it slowly started to change it from being a contributory scheme to a non-contributory scheme, because it wanted the best of both worlds. It knew, when it started to change things, but all hell would break loose if people realised the state pension was going to be something to be a carrot and stick, and not an entitlement.
