So here's the deal with the Ant step thru pass: he establishes his right foot as his pivot. He's allowed to lift that foot off the floor as long as he passes before it comes back down. Was that a jump, though? If so, it would be a travel. Refs didn't think so.

The key is positioning players between the lines while maintaining width through the half spaces, forcing the opposition to shift and protect one side of the pitch before attacking the space that opens on the opposite side. Those spaces can be through through dribbling or combinations. He then delivers perhaps the most important message when operating in dangerous areas: DESIRE TO SCORE. When you receive the ball close to goal, your first thought must be to hurt the opposition. Play forward. Attack the defender. Combine to penetrate. Shoot when the opportunity is there. Pick the ball up with the desire to score.

This Dividion 3 baseball player was given a tounge lashing by his coach for not hustling out of the batter’s box and admiring his homerun. The coach yells at him to hustle because he doesn’t know if it’s going to be a home run and he needs to hustle. He tells him if he ever does that again, it will be his last at bat there. Some are saying the coach is being ridiculous, let the player have fun. Others are saying the coach was right on the money and that’s what is wrong with players today- too much showboating. What do you think? Do you think the coach overacted or do you think he was correct?

Was this a mistake from Heaven, or great timing from Mbaye? He’s aware of the danger but the left-foot step he took to anticipate Boly’s run makes intercepting the cross hard. Mbaye times his acceleration right after the scan & on that left-foot step.
