So went ahead and installed the new OpenClaw 2.0 on my Windows machine that is tied to my personal Microsoft 365 Business tenantThe installation was smooth and I do have to say it’s very responsive and polished and you can tell the OpenClaw team put a lot of work into this release. I also want to call out when I’m wrong and this morning my comments about transparency were 100% wrong. The OpenClaw team has been heavily engaged on Discord with the OpenClaw community and I was dead wrong. A man who has never worked in a house before decides to attempt to install a roof vent because his home doesn’t have any and it’s causing massive heat spikes in the attic, how did he do, anything you would have done differently? I’ve been in his shoes before, I already told you about the first thing I attempted and I messed it up, not too bad but enough. Another time was when I was installing my first toilet. The one I was replacing leaked at the base. The flange it screwed into was a plastic Oatey flange and where the bolt holds down the toilet was broken. So the first thing I did was shut off the water, I drained the tank and proceeded to undo the bolts. I lifted it straight up and put it in a bag so it wouldn’t drip on the way down the stairs. I unscrewed the broken flange and replaced it with a new one. The problem was that since it was leaking, some of the wood was soft. I know I should have replaced the board but I didn’t. I ended up rotating the flange until I could screw into good dry board. That was my first mistake. Because after I got the new toilet base on, I over tightened it and not only cracked the toilet but I pulled up the flange because the wood was weak. Since I was replacing the tile anyways I ended up removing everything I did and I broke up all the tile and removed it. I took off the board and replaced it with a new one. I retraced my steps after I installed the vinyl floor planks and trimmed them to fit the flange. When I put the toilet back down it wasn’t flush. The old tile was thicker than the planks I put down so what I ended up doing was going to the store and getting silicone shims. In some spots I had to use several, I tightened it down and it worked well. No movement at all. I’m not sure if what I did was right but it worked. To this day that toilet is still in operation and it hasn’t budged since.

Because an open source agent platform is an existential threat to frontier model companies. @jason: “ People are going to say I'm a conspiracy theorist, but the number one goal, I believe, in the large language model, frontier model space, is to kill (OpenClaw). This is a giant movement to stop it, because this is the equivalent of having an open source Android-like player in the market, and that could be incredibly disruptive. Because, I believe, open source is going to win the day on the large language models and take 90% of the token usage, and I think the entire frontier model space could be undercut by open source. Gary Oldman's "EVERYONE!!" scream in Léon: The Professional is so iconic people yell it at him in the street. Turns out it started as a joke between him and Luc Besson. He explains: “What's strange is that it's become this sort of iconic line, and it was all done as a joke. And that was the thing, I played the scene…. And I had a relationship with Luc. ✨ A dream I had finally came true: I can now chat directly with my sites to build any feature or fix any bug just via Telegram I've been playing with OpenClaw for 3 weeks now and it's great but I was always too scared to run it on any production server And I was right a bit as Marc Köhlbrugge was able to hack it by social engineering and acting as if it was me, and with enough tries it believed him, and was able to modify the server, change SSH keys etc. of course I had it isolated properly on its own VPS and it didn't touch anything sensitive (as it should!) Marc then reported that bug to Peter Steinberger 🦞 who patched it fast But I wanted to try something more basic and simple, and I think maybe more secure: to just connect Claude Code on my server to Telegram which would be hard locked to only messages from me So I installed claude-code-telegram by Richard Atkinson on the server and run it as a system daemon and it works really well The cool thing is that I was already using Telegram for server errors like this: > Photo AI - ❌ Random credits giveaway failed (Attempt 30/30) with an exception: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 5 database is locked So now I can just reply, "Ok fix this", and Claude Code on the server in production will try (and probably succeed) in fixing it In the video below I asked it to make show [🌳 Parks ] on the map by default on load, it did that, then I reloaded the page and it instantly worked One thing it still needs is sending actual messages while it's doing stuff which OpenClaw does really well, it's annoying to just wait while it says "Working..." but that's probably next

I’ve been meaning to share here that I bought land! Growing up I vividly remember going to the welfare office with my mom. Public school, free lunches & section 8 housing made life possible. I wanted more for myself so I studied, worked my ass off, and put myself in the way of getting lucky. I pivoted into tech in my late 20’s, and was already a mom of 2 at that point. It was not an immediate up and to the right journey. In fact, my first startup failed. And it was entirely bootstrapped so I lost all the money I’d put into it. After working at other companies for some years I was ready to try again but then I nearly failed at fundraising. It was humbling to hear no after no but I just kept learning and adapting. I have always played long games and I’m willing to take a lot of pain in the short-term to realize big goals. People who know my full life story say it’s so hard to believe that I am in this position today, but it’s not by accident. I built this life brick by brick. Odds were stacked against me but I found joy in the challenge of doing hard things. Much of my success is from being pushed down and told I couldn’t make it. I love proving people wrong. Back to the land. I started dreaming of this project over a decade ago, back when I had no money to do it. But I talked about it to friends constantly like it was inevitable - because even though I didn’t know *how* it would happen, I began believing it would. Here we are and now it’s a key piece of what I want to accomplish in my next act. I want to create a place that people come to for reflection, to unwind from the grind, and to build meaningful connection to self and others. I want to host salons to discuss and debate interesting topics with the smartest people I can find. Breakthroughs will happen round a fire, while lounging poolside, and while gazing up at the stars through the trees. It took a year of searching for land but we found a spot just 1 hour north of San Francisco. It’s got some beautiful bones and infrastructure on it already but there’s a lot to imagine and build to realize the dream. Everything big starts small. So, we put up our first tree swings, hammocks and a canvas tent. 🏕️ If you’re into that kind of journey then I’ll be posting more about it on IG and may create an account just for that work. I’ve never owned land so 10 acres is an amazing canvas to create and learn on. There will be mistakes and setbacks, There always are. But I can’t wait to see what gets accomplished in the next decade! (And no, I am not quitting my job at Meta - this project is my side gig for the foreseeable future. I’m lucky to have the best guy I know focused on it full-time.) As the corporate truism goes - team work makes the dream work. LFG! 💕

Introducing Open Source AI CRM, that runs on your OpenClaw. A few weeks ago, we launched Ironclaw (An Open Source OpenClaw CRM Framework) which now has around 1.4k stars. A lot of people confused us with NearAI’s Ironclaw, so we changed our name to DenchClaw. OpenClaw today feels a lot like early React: the primitive is incredibly powerful, but the patterns are still forming, and everyone is piecing together their own way to actually use it. What made React explode wasn’t just React itself, but the emergence of frameworks like Gatsby and Next.js that turned raw capability into something opinionated, repeatable, and easy to adopt. That is how I think about DenchClaw. We are not just building on top of OpenClaw; we are trying to make it one of the clearest, most practical, and most complete ways to use OpenClaw in the real world. We are an OpenClaw Framework, we are aiming to be the most correct way to use OpenClaw. We entered Y Combinator with Merse (AI Audio Comic), it was an app that I personally never used. Michael Seibel confronted us on it, and said, “if you aren’t the best user of your consumer app, then who is?”. I now use DenchClaw daily for everything I do, it also works as a coding agent like Cursor, DenchClaw built DenchClaw. I am addicted to DenchClaw now that I can ask it, “hey in the companies table only show me the ones who have more than 5 employees” and it updates it live than me having to manually add a filter. On Dench, everything sits in a file system, the table filters, views, column toggles, calendar/gantt views, etc, so OpenClaw can directly work with it using Dench’s CRM skill. The CRM is built on top of DuckDB, the smallest, most performant and at the same time also feature rich database we could find. It creates a new OpenClaw🦞 profile called “dench”, and opens a new OpenClaw Gateway… that means you can run all your usual openclaw commands by just prefixing every command with `openclaw --profile dench` . It will start your gateway on port 19001 range. You will be able to access the DenchClaw frontend at localhost:3100. Once you open it on Safari, just add it to your Dock to use it as a PWA. Think of it as Cursor for your Mac which is based on OpenClaw. DenchClaw has a file tree view for you to use it as an elevated finder tool to do anything on your mac. I use it to create slides, do LinkedIn outreach using MY browser. DenchClaw sees what you see, does what you do. It’s the everything app, that sits locally on your mac. All yours. Just ask it “hey import my notion”, “hey import everything from my hubspot”, and it will literally go into your browser, export all objects and documents and put it in its own workspace that you can use. P.S. It comes with Garry Tan's GStack built in.
