I don't like it. The joy of having a car is you can drive it anywhere all over the world, and not be stopped by some geo-fence or being deemed a dissident by a government. Not mentioning all the jobs that are lost with this.

It's not just taxis that will get disrupted. Every form of public transport is going to get replaced. Eventually, kids will stop learning to drive, then all the other car manufacturers are going bust.

I love it. But that's effectively the end for taxi driver & driver jobs. Soon after it'll be another job in another industry and so on until it replaces all our jobs. Given labour is our value, we will have no value. Our vote will be meaningless. Not so exciting then.

Great idea but let's hope the vermin don't fuck them up by stealing screens, spraying graffiti or taking a piss in them. They'll be great in a high trust society but possibly not elsewhere. There is always the lowest common denominator factor to consider!
