So this game is real now, fully built with GPT-5.5. I told Codex to use the imagegen skill to generate a reference UI and sprites, and used the Build macOS Apps plugin to build the app for a native retro fantasy labyrinth game! Adjusted the UI in a few prompts and here we are!

We are witnessing a fundamental shift in how software is built. Over the decades, UI was static and predictable. But AI is changing the fundamental nature of the interface. We are moving away from fixed UI and toward a new standard: Generative UI. Generative UI lets agents participate in the UI, not just the conversation. Today’s my last day at Rive It’s been almost two years, and what a ride it’s been. I’ve worked on around 250 UIs and demos, made over 50 videos, created music scores for social content, helped shape the branding for Rive 101, and explored all kinds of UI: AI, automotive, music, games, watchfaces, TV… you name it. I’ve learned so much, had a ton of fun, and got to be part of something really special. Now, it feels like the right time to move on and switch focus from demos to products. That said, I’m not going anywhere; I’ll still be around as a Rive Ambassador and Expert, staying in touch with the awesome community and team. I love production-ready design, craft and handshake approach, so, you can expect even more Rive on your devices!

For context: tbh this is just a technical demo, truly meant to showcase how powerfully Comfy UI is when you get to expose the params. I'm also very grateful to even get the chance to meet with the team behind krea and fal in SF, these are very creative people and I have huge respect. Everything you see here is running behind a workflow done by julien when I asked for help in the discord, for which I am really really grateful. I'm looking toward a future where real-time generative AI becomes more accessible, and by contributing to open source, a lot more people can build creative AI apps and let their imaginations go wild. benny
