India is moving ahead with a $36 billion deal for 114 Rafale fighter jets for the IAF. 🇮🇳 With this, the IAF’s Rafale fleet will rise to 150, along with 26 Rafale-M jets for the Indian Navy. Indian weapons and systems will be integrated on the Rafale, though source codes will remain with France. 12–18 jets will be delivered in fly-away condition, while the rest will be manufactured in India, starting with 30% indigenous content, increasing in later phases.

In a recent interaction with India TV, ARDE officials revealed that Bharat Forge has emerged as the L1 bidder and will manufacture 60% of the total 4.25 lakh carbines. Which means the remaining 40% is likely to go to the L2 bidder, PLR Systems, under the ongoing procurement process. • Total Requirement: 4,25,213 carbines • Bharat Forge (L1) – 2,55,128 units | ₹1,700 crore. • PLR Systems (L2) – 1,70,085 units | ₹1,100 crore (estimated)

DA and DR have been increased for all our central government employees and pensioners, which will cost the Government of India a total of Rs. 6,791 crore. Basically, DA and DR will become 60% of the basic pay from January 1, 2026. It has been increased by 2%, from 58% to 60%. It will become 60% of the basic pay. There are a total of about 50 lakh employees and 68 lakh pensioners of the Government of India. This will be a huge benefit for all of them..."

Indian Railways is silently constructing the world’s highest railway line, much higher than China’s Qinghai–Tibet Railway "The Bhanupli–Bilaspur–Leh railway line" Stretching over 490 km through the Himalayas, the line will feature ~70 tunnels, covering more than 50% of the route length (approximately 260 km). The longest tunnel will be 27 km long. The project will also include 100+ major bridges, with the highest elevation reaching 5,359 meters near Taglang La Pass, the highest point any railway line in the world has ever reached. The project is also estimated to be one of the most expensive in Indian Railways history, currently costing around ₹1.3 lakh crore. For comparison, the 500 km MAHSR was initially estimated around ₹1.1 lakh crore. Currently, Phase 1 (Bhanupli → Bilaspur → Beri), spanning ~63 km, is under construction and expected to be completed soon, Hopefully, in the coming years, we will have a direct railway line connecting Leh.
