After being granted permission by the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court, today I visited Mothabari in the Malda District. A few days ago a violent mob of miscreants targeted Shops owned by Hindus at Mothabari. The shops & properties were selectively targeted and vandalised without any sort of provocation from the shop owners. Only reason was that those belonged to the Hindus. Today I met the affected people & interacted with them and tried to address their concerns. The distressed people have lost their faith on Administration. I have assured them of any and every support possible including legal help and arranging better medical facilities for the victims. I tried to boost their morale and distributed Bhagavad Gita amongst them along with some other items and gifts. I have told them that the whole Sanatani Community is with them and if the need arises I will come back again. Besides I will be doing everything in my capacity to ensure that they get justice.
