The devastation caused by this recent storm is real. The damage is severe and lives were lost. That alone warrants compassion and restraint. But instead of focusing on recovery and safety, we are once again being told that Māori tikanga will dictate what everyone else can and cannot do.... Local kaumātua Bobby Rolleston summed it up bluntly, saying: “One of our traditions is that, when you are close to something or someone passes, from your whānau, you have a year to mourn them. I think the same should happen here, you know, mourning should be done in line with our tikanga.” If lives were lost on Mt Maunganui, that is tragic. No reasonable person disputes that. What is being challenged is the arrogance of using a tragedy to impose one group’s spiritual customs on the entire public. Closing a public mountain that hundreds of people climb every single day, not because it is unsafe, but because it conflicts with your beliefs, is pure overreach. Your tikanga is yours. It is not law. It is not universal. And it should not trump the freedoms of everyone else. You are free to mourn for a year, ten years, or a lifetime if you wish. Hold ceremonies. Observe rituals. Follow whatever mythical or spiritual tikanga mumbo-jumbo framework you believe in. Just stop weaponising grief to control public spaces and dictate how the rest of New Zealand must live. Respect goes both ways. The public can acknowledge loss without being ordered to shut up, stay away, and comply. Being Dominant means being the One in Control. Some people love it and some hate it, but either way, there is always someone in control and the areas where you are not the one in control, are where you have given that control to someone else! Being the one in control means being the one people TRUST to lead, to be in charge. And for us to hold that responsibility, we gotta be not only comfortable with that role, but to love it! To want it. Control holds negative connotations, yet if it is exerted by someone with positive intentions, it is very healthy. It means you trust yourself and don't need to rely on others to direct you. NOT being in control means chaos. It means helplessness. It means inability to make decisions. Or to take initiatives. It means you are the one that follows. And if that is what you actually desire you have to be conscious of that choice. Otherwise you fall into that role and then wonder why nothing goes as you want. And if you choose to follow, choose your leader wisely. There always is someone in control, someone in charge, someone that leads. There is always a power dynamic. Truth is, we feel safe with those in control. Especially when they show us that them being in that role is positive for us. But so many people trust others more than they trust themselves! Which means being constantly influenced by everyone else's option and advice... which makes then the ones in control of your life! Decide WHO you want to take control when you want or need it, but also choose when YOU should be The One in charge. Developing that self-trust requires radical self responsibility. Which is what people struggle with. Nobody wants to be responsible for anything. And then we blame everyone for why our lives are not what we want them to be. And if you DO want to dominate, start by controling your own Self, your own thoughts, your own life. You can't expect others to trust YOU if YOU don't. Think about it... those that are in control are the people that have the most influence in the world. So if conscious people who desire to create a positive change take more control/responsibility, it would literally change society as we know it.

Culture is genetic because behavior is genetic. This beaver never saw a dam in its life. No beavers or anything else ever taught it to build a dam. It wants to build a dam because it is a beaver. Many beavers together build a big dam. That is beaver culture. Humans are not different. Nothing is different. This is what life is. This is how life works. Your body is your mind. A caterpillar wants to build a chrysalis. A bee wants to build a hive. A lion wants to build a pride. You are not special. You are not above your nature. you are INSIDE of it. The thoughts that we think are genetic thoughts. The crimes we commit are genetic crimes. The art we create is genetic art. Just like this beaver, you can give the animal different sticks and it will build a different dam, but it will always build a dam. And you can give humans different "education," but the human will always use it to do what its genes tell it to do. This is the first big answer that you need. This is the biggest piece of the puzzle. This is how to understand people 90% of the way. You just... notice what they do, and get out of the way, and watch them do it. And if they need sticks, you give them sticks. And if you don't like what they do, you have to get away from them. You may not agree with me, but you will always know where you stand with me. Today in Billericay, a heckler tried to shout me down as I spoke about the normalisation of hatred towards Jews. I did not back down, because it needs to be said. British Jews are being targeted and too many people are pretending this is the same experience of other minorities. This lady implied Muslims are being similarly targeted. This is simply not true. Let's be honest about what is happening. Certain groups (in particular but not solely Islamic Extremists) are creating a climate of fear and intimidation that is normalising Jew hatred. I will never stand for that. Governments have spent too long hand-wringing, making excuses and hoping it would go away. It is time to call this what it is: a national emergency in our attitude, our urgency and our response. I will always engage with people who disagree with me. That is politics. But there is a difference between argument and intimidation. Shouting does not make a bad case good. It's done to silence others. And it certainly does not change the truth. The truth is that British Jews have been made to feel less safe in their own country. Our country. They are being singled out, threatened and harassed in ways that should shame everyone in public life. If we do not stand up now and stop this rise in antisemitism, then why bother saying "Never Again" at Holocaust Memorial Day? Because this is how it starts. I am not prepared to play along with the pretence that this is normal, or manageable, or just another example of tension between groups. It really is not. It is targeted hatred and it is getting worse. So my message is simple. Not here. Not in Britain. And not on our watch. We need to stop the hand-wringing and start doing the right thing. That means standing with British Jews openly, unapologetically and without fear.

We should also benefit from our work and efforts as human beings, but in our responsibilities as leaders, we should first and foremost think about Rwandans. There is something about positions, even in foreign languages people enjoy being called “VVIPs”; some people end up almost killing others because they don’t treat them as “VIPs”. People have become so full of themselves, so heavy, that if they pass by places and they don’t leave fear in their wake, do you know how a hurricane goes? If they don’t leave fear in their wake then it becomes a problem. They look back to check if they left a storm in their wake or if people had turned up in big numbers to praise them. This is definitely a bad habit. We have said many times that it should stop but I repeat it today and it should stop. If you want to feel important, I am not against you if that is who you are, but it should start with fulfilling your duties first. He's right. And I don't mean that sarcastically, or cruelly, or unkindly. Men, that is your purpose, perhaps above all others. It is the very definition of masculinity. It is to give, always, more than you receive. It is not fair. It is not just. But it is the truth. Importantly, just like Batman, you are under no requirement to save everyone. You should be VERY discerning in this regard... But think carefully about every man you think highly of. All of them, every single last one, in stark terms produces more than he consumes. That is what it is to *be* a man. "But what if I need help?" Then you should seek it. And you should understand that the cloudy voice in your head telling you it would be better to self destruct is an animalistic thing, slamming its hand down on the dopamine button, pumping your head full of fantasies of glorious self sacrifice because it feels good in a moment when you're suffering most. Get it? That's why you're fantasizing about it. Because it feels good, in your moments of most terrible suffering, to see yourself as a hero. The very embodiment of self sacrificing masculinity. It counteracts the pain. It's self medication, it keeps you going. He's right. And I don't mean that sarcastically, or cruelly, or unkindly. Men, that is your purpose, perhaps above all others. It is the very definition of masculinity. Yes, indeed, this is lawlessness by any standard. Even by banana republic standards, this is still lawlessness. Your country has a constitution, it has a government, it has a police service, and it has a ruling party. I am sure you can see that some of the people there are actually wearing ruling party T-shirts. It is lawless regardless of whoever does it. It is an embarrassment to South Africa as a country, what you are doing and what you are encouraging people to do. Your country has an immigration service. If people are in your country illegally, they should be arrested and deported through lawful processes. You do not go around destroying property, tearing down markets, and attacking people. It is illegal regardless of whoever does it. It is not illegal because I have said so. It is illegal because the laws of your country make it so. This is vigilantism, pure and simple, and it is tainting the reputation of South Africa, not only across Africa but across the world. If you have got satellite television in your home, you can see that these actions are being reported everywhere. It is not good for your country. This kind of barbarism undermines the rule of law, fuels division, and damages South Africa’s standing as a constitutional democracy. It is the actions of a few that are tainting the reputation of many. The average South African is not mindless like this. If we do not act now, our collective future will be one of war, unrest, death and misery. It is that serious. We are that close to the edge. The time for being silent out of fear is over. You must resist and you must do so LOUDLY. You are the last sentry at the gate.
