Trawsfynydd Nuclear Power Station. Hands down nuclear power is the safest and most abundant source of energy mankind has ever discovered. It is clean, can be reusable (breeder reactors), and has a body count far far less than all other energy production methods. It is the epitome of green. Which is why they dont want you to have it and deliberately conflate nuclear power with nuclear weapons. Meanwhile all the major tech companies are planning to build small modular nuclear power stations for their data centres whilst pushing the green agenda.

Secondly, it has the lowest life cycle CO2 emissions, lower than coal, gas and even wind and solar. Thirdly, nuclear runs 93% of the time. Wind and solar don't come anywhere near that, just 33% and 23% respectively. And on top of all that, a one gigawatt nuclear plant fits on about one square mile and powers 750,000 homes. It is reliable, dispatchable, and produces virtually no CO2 - yet many environmental groups oppose new dams. The same contradiction appears with nuclear power. Nuclear produces zero operational CO2, runs 24 hours a day, and uses far less land than wind or solar. If cutting emissions were truly the priority here, the focus would be obvious: Hydropower and nuclear, not endless wind and solar expansion.
