One point for consideration about the ability to gather so much data is like having the ability to turn a very quiet stereo up to level 10. It’s such a loud volume the signal suddenly turns the noise because it’s overly saturating. So they’ve got data on billions of people. Good luck trying to pull out the important stuff as it will be buried under a sea of data

Good point! IT’s interesting that we see the public starting to use advanced tracing technologies against government employees now too. It’s a big reason why the ice agents were covering their faces. Sooner or later these tools somehow become available to the public. Of course publicly available tools will always lag behind the government’s and some things the public will never have, but the public’s advantage is that there are more of them

People in some groups I am in have no idea of how bad these data centres are. They are all for it, and mostly reference more jobs…yeah, sure 🙄. Clearly they look nothing up on their own accord. Pathetic. And of course, until it’s in their own backyard and things go south, then they will be up in arms about it. By then it’s too late. People can be so incredibly fcking stupid.
