Once again at midnight, the Sindh police violently attacked a peaceful protest organized in solidarity with the Baloch Yakjehti Committee’s Baloch Raaji Muchi and in opposition to the brutal crackdown on the movement. Many of the peaceful protesters including women's were arrested and detained by the police. When the protesters resisted, the police were compelled to release some of them, though more than ten protesters remain detained. After speaking to the commissioner of police, lagos state, we had a press conference wherein we addressed several issues as it relates to this protest. In our address, we mentioned that the Commissioner of Police Lagos State Police Command have ordered the immediate release of the protesters who were arrested and detained in Panti, we also spoke about the peaceful protest and the conduct of the enforcement officers. In the press briefing, we assured protesters that our group of lawyers are willing and ready to freely secure the release of whoever is arrested in lagos state.
