Native Americans (American Indians) born in the United States were collectively granted U.S. citizenship on June 2, 1924, when President Calvin Coolidge signed the Indian Citizenship Act (also known as the Snyder Act) into law. For most of U.S. history, Native Americans were generally not considered U.S. citizens by birth, even though the Fourteenth Amendment (ratified in 1868) granted citizenship to people “born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof.” Courts and the government interpreted tribal members as not fully “subject to the jurisdiction” of the U.S. because they owed allegiance to their sovereign tribal nations.

Being charitable (with 'blood from a stone' effort) - if you steal a japanese person's wallet, as a tourist, you are subject to their criminal penalties and therefore subject to their jurisdiction. now, thankfully, one of the framers of the 14th explicitly wrote that he was excluding illegal aliens, so that should have been the beginning and end of argumentation

So, what she is admitting is that birthright citizenship is akin to thievery. They are stealing our birthright.
