This won’t be on any highlight reel but this is a very nice play by Hurts on 3rd down Looks to where the play is supposed to go, doesn’t like it, stays calm and goes to his check down. Gainwell turns it into a 1st down.

The Packers have so little respect for the jet motion (because the Eagles never use it as anything but a decoy) that a cutback lane actually opens up to the motion side and Kenny Gainwell hits it for the 1st down. The Eagles will miss Gainwell next year. He is a very solid RB2

Eagles Offense All22 thread vs. Bucs. 1) It wasn't perfect all game, but I think we have now reached the point with Hurts where I don't fear the blitz at all. The progression this year has been obvious. He is fine with free rushers in his face and will stand and deliver. This was a big 3rd down conversion on the 1st drive. It's another area of his game where he has made significant improvements.

Following 2 of the dumber play designs of the year, the Eagles end up in 4th and 2. They go empty and the 49ers counter with C0. They know there are 2 things the Eagles like to do from empty: QB run and DeVonta Smith out routes. The C0 blitz stacks the box and helps eliminate the QB run, while the slot corner just sits on the out route. Hurts has to try to throw it, because every other route is just a curl or a vertical route. Not 1 route targeting the middle of the field against C0, and the Eagles turn it over on downs. You can't be that predictable.

The Eagles ask their backup swing tackle to reach block a DT on a play where the Bears already know which direction it will run because Grant Calcaterra is on the field and it ends about how you would expect. This isn't a Fred Johnson issue. This is a design issue.

One reason #Eagles snap ball so late is they noticeably have more guys involved in pre-snap communication than other teams. Here, 6 of 7 players involved in protection are gesturing at the same time. This happens a lot! (All to throw an out short of the sticks on 3rd down.)

The Eagles got what they wanted on 4th down. With a better throw that is a completion and the game is over. They have hit on this play tons of time. Perfectly acceptable that’s what Sirianni went with. It just didn’t work.

People are blaming Roki Sasaki for this. What the heck is Dalton Rushing doing? Why do catchers keep inventing dumb stuff to do with their gloves? The frame jerk is bad enough, but now we have the glove down and up routine. Los Angeles Dodgers vs New York Yankees and and Rushing is looking for cool kid points. Rushing tries to get it down, bring it up then frame it. And he fails. And a run scores. Just keep the glove where the ball is going you jester!

Is there any real "due diligence" done by the 🅰️people? All of their points seem empty, vague, and very handwavy, at least that's the feeling I get. It seems to be confirmed when it comes down to the facts, they try to apply that same vague speculatory mindset they use regarding Starlink, arriving at a conclusion that always seems to be wrong. How many guesses have been propagated as truth? How many small differences have been exaggerated so large that they become the very core of their position? Probably a lot, because the trend I see is to take a kernel of truth and cover it with heavy layers of lies and speculation. I like what ASTS is doing, but the community makes it pretty hard to know what's actually significant, and the truth is, it's pretty hard to tell until both constellations are built and delivering data to customers. The issue is that most of them likely have a huge amount of money riding on the company, so they'll take anything and go with it solely for the comfort factor.
