Kind of, switching user defenders has always been there though. The directional switching has been around for a while

FIFA/EAFC has had this type of stick switching in defense for quite a while. Nice to see it make it's way over, and hopefully work more consistently well.

I dont understand Switch Stick. It looks like just switching players mid play? We could always do this in madden, is it because there isnt any stopping of the player when you switch to them which obviously ruins the play?
