🇷🇴“THE EVIDENCE DOESN’T EXIST” — EXPLOSIVE CLAIM OVER ROMANIA’S CANCELLED ELECTION This goes directly to the heart of one of the most extraordinary democratic controversies in modern Europe. In my interview with Laura Gherasim, we return to the annulment of Romania's 2024 presidential election. And Laura makes an extraordinary...

🚨🇷🇴ROMANIAN SENATOR: “THIS WAS A COUP D’ÉTAT” Romanian Senator Andrei Dîrlău is making an extraordinary accusation about the annulment of Romania's 2024 presidential election. He alleges that multiple institutions — including the presidency under Klaus Iohannis, Romania's Supreme Council of National Defence (CSAT) and the Constitutional Court — were involved in what he describes unequivocally as a: “COUP D’ÉTAT.” His argument is explosive. Dîrlău says the election was cancelled because those in power “didn't like the result” and argues that the process that followed leaves Romania's current political leadership without democratic legitimacy. And Romania's election annulment didn't go unnoticed internationally. JD Vance subsequently used Romania as a central example in his criticism of the state of European democracy. Whatever your view of the original decision, cancelling a presidential election is one of the most consequential actions a democracy can take. It therefore demands an extraordinary level of evidence and transparency. What evidence justified overturning the vote? Who made the decisions? What role did each institution play? And ultimately: Were Romania's democratic institutions protecting an election — or overriding the will of its voters? A serving Romanian senator is now calling what happened a coup d'état. That allegation cannot simply be waved away. Romania deserves answers. Andrei Dîrlău Senator

🇷🇴“THE PLAN WAS ALREADY IN PLACE” — EXPLOSIVE NEW CLAIM OVER ROMANIA’S CANCELLED ELECTION This could be one of the most important allegations yet surrounding Romania's annulled presidential election. When Călin Georgescu unexpectedly surged into the second round of the 2024 presidential election, many assumed Romania's political establishment had been caught completely off guard. But investigative journalist Iosefina Pascal says newly uncovered material points to something far more troubling. Her allegation? THE MACHINERY TO BLOCK WHAT CAME NEXT MAY HAVE BEEN IN MOTION BEFORE THE FIRST ROUND HAD EVEN TAKEN PLACE. Pascal points to a press conference held by then-Bucharest mayor — and now Romanian President — Nicușor Dan on the night of the first-round vote. She argues that what has subsequently emerged fundamentally changes the timeline surrounding the annulment. If that interpretation is correct, the implications are enormous. Because this would no longer simply be a question of authorities reacting to an unexpected election result. It raises the far more serious question of whether preparations affecting the democratic process predated the vote itself. Remember what ultimately happened: The presidential election was annulled. Millions of votes were voided. Georgescu was later prevented from standing in the rerun. And Romania eventually elected a different president. I travelled to Romania precisely because there were questions surrounding this election that deserved answers. Those questions have not disappeared. They are getting bigger. Watch what Iosefina Pascal reveals in this exchange. Because if there is documentary evidence establishing that crucial decisions or preparations were underway before Romanians had even cast their ballots, then that evidence needs to be examined publicly and independently. ROMANIA DESERVES THE TRUTH. And Europe should be paying very close attention. Iosefina Pascal

🇷🇴“BLINKEN SAID IT ON THE 5TH. ON THE 6TH, THEY CANCELLED THE ELECTION.” — ROMANIAN SENATOR ANDREI DÎRLĂU This isn't an outside commentator looking into Romania. This is a serving Romanian Senator raising questions about what happened to his country's presidential election. In my interview with Senator Andrei Dîrlău, we examine one of the most extraordinary sequences of events surrounding the annulment. On 5 December 2024, then-US Secretary of State Antony Blinken publicly spoke about alleged Russian interference in Romania's presidential election. On 6 December, Romania's Constitutional Court annulled the election. Senator Dîrlău asks the obvious question: What are we supposed to understand from those two events occurring just 24 hours apart? Was Washington merely responding to intelligence already known to Romanian authorities? Or does the sequence point towards something requiring much deeper investigation into international involvement and pressure surrounding the Romanian election? An entire presidential election was cancelled. Millions of votes were rendered void. That demands an extraordinary level of transparency. And when a serving Romanian Senator is publicly questioning what happened, the international community should be listening. DECEMBER 5: BLINKEN SPEAKS. DECEMBER 6: THE ELECTION IS CANCELLED. Watch Senator Andrei Dîrlău explain why he believes that timeline matters. FOLLOW THE TIMELINE. FOLLOW THE EVIDENCE. Andrei Dîrlău Senator

Bret Weinstein cuts straight to the chase: "We are going to have an endless battle in which those of us who see what we believe is clear evidence of some kind of election rigging or fraud are faced with indignation from a vast array of people portraying themselves as more rigorous and careful who say, 'Where is your evidence? Where exactly is your evidence that there was something wrong with this election?' And we are gonna be caught in the following predicament. No piece of evidence is sufficient to establish that case. And the sum total of all of the evidence contains true things and false things. So it is also no good. So the question is, can you logically deduce that something has gone wrong? I believe you can easily. Can you prove it? No. And not being able to prove it means that the election will proceed. It will be validated by all of the structures, including the courts. And that means that those who take on the power that derives from these elections will be the result of whatever process we just went through, whether it was an election that happened to be anomalous through organic means, or it was the result of some kind of fraud or election rigging. That is not an accident. That is not an accident. And the point that I wanna make primarily is the primary evidence against elections that look like this being organic is not actually in the trickle of evidence that we are actually able to see, the moment by moment vote count that does something strange during the night when some large tranche of ballots is suddenly counted or something like that. The evidence is in the structure of how the elections are actually carried out. These elections are designed to allow fraud that cannot be detected and will not be prosecuted. And that's really the thing that we must focus on." Bret Weinstein

🚨🇩🇪“THEY ARE INFLUENCING ELECTIONS” — GERMAN MEP PETR BYSTRON This should concern anyone who believes elections belong to the people. German MEP Petr Bystron points to one of the most controversial statements made by former EU Commissioner Thierry Breton following the annulment of Romania's presidential election. Speaking about enforcement of European rules, Breton said words translated as: “We did it in Romania, and we will obviously do it if necessary in Germany.” Bystron's interpretation is explosive. He argues that what Europe calls protecting democracy is increasingly becoming interference in the democratic process itself. Breton disputes that interpretation and has maintained that he was talking about enforcing EU law against online interference — not claiming Brussels could simply overturn elections. But that makes the question even more important: WHAT EXACTLY DID “WE DID IT IN ROMANIA” MEAN? Romania's presidential election was annulled. Germany's AfD has faced extraordinary political and institutional pressure. And Bystron says these developments have now caught the attention of lawmakers in the United States. Democracy cannot mean: “You may vote for anyone you like — provided the establishment approves of the result.” If European institutions are acting solely to protect elections from unlawful interference, show the evidence. Show the legal basis. Show exactly what interventions took place. Because protecting democracy and managing its outcomes are two very different things. THE PEOPLE MUST DECIDE WHO GOVERNS THEM. NOT BRUSSELS. Petr Bystron

I want to ask three questions first, which will make it very clear that the BJP is directing and using the Election Commission to damage India's democracy. ❓ Why is it that the CJI was removed from the selection panel of the Election Commissioner? What motivation could there be to remove the CJI? Do we not believe in the CJI? Of course, we believe in the CJI. Why is he not in that room? I sit in that room. It is a so-called democratic decision. On one side, PM Narendra Modi and HM Amit Shah. On the other side, the leader of the opposition. I have no voice in that room. What they decide is what happens. So, why are the Prime Minister and Amit Shah so keen on choosing exactly who the Election Commissioner is going to be? ❓ This is a devastating one. No Prime Minister has done this in the history of India. In December 2023, this government changed the law. They changed the law to make sure that no Election Commissioner could be punished for any action they take while they are Election Commissioners. Why would the Prime Minister and Home Minister give this gift of immunity to the Election Commissioner? Why would they need to give this tremendous gift that no prime minister has ever given before to the election commissioner? ❓ Why was the law with regard to CCTVs and the data that they contain changed? Why was a law put in place that allows the Election Commission to destroy CCTV footage 45 days after the election? What is the need? The answer given is that it is a question of data. But it is not a question of data. It is a question of stealing the election. : LoP Shri Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha
