Here's a hot take, maybe they didn't let him be a finalist because his stats were good enough, and the competiton is underwhelming enough, that he might actually could win and they just don't want that.. Always about offense.
There is an extremely simple answer to this. His helmet logo doesn’t fit the Heisman narrative.
For everyone saying it's because he plays in the Big 12, he swept the defensive awards nationally. So....that isn't the reason why.
@H917Jacob
And his girlfriend is real.
Thankful for your support
2 reasons Big 12 End of story
When you play a weak ass schedule ain’t nobody putting a LB from fuckin tech as a heisman finalist
someone clearly doesn’t know how heisman voting works!!!
He plays defense in the B12. That’s why he ain’t in NY 🤣
You have some great takes… This one wasn’t one of them
No he didn’t lol, teo played a tougher schedule!
I beg people to stop using PFF grades
Wrong conference unfortunately. The upside is that this type of thing and the CFP selection is making reality clearer for CFB fans. Just hope things get fixed before CFB disappears from relevance.
Thank you for putting this out there!
@GamblinGauchos
He plays linebacker come on
Yep I’ve been saying. No quarterback deserves this trophy this year.
And Manti was trash when facing actual elite athletes
Bro plays juco teams
Where did this player grading come from lol? Never have seen that in heisman talk all these years. This is TTUs first year to have a guy this close and they have no idea it’s 95% a QB award.
He was 5th in the voting.
#WreckEm
He is not the best player 😂everybody knows the best player is #4 for OSU
The @HeismanTrophy hasn't gone to the best player for decades!! The BEST PLAYER is @Jermiah_Smith1 at Ohio State.....HANDS DOWN the best athlete and player....Will go #1 when he comes out
Who remembers?
