Really wish I could get access to the design agent, have a pro plan and still nothing

This is going to be so cheap 👍🏼

one less reason to leave Figma

What’s the difference between using Web Search and just asking it directly in the prompt?

@figma will be in amongst top AI companies.

The useful design agent is not just “generate UI”. It is: search context, cite sources, make a design decision, then insert editable artifacts. That last mile into the working file matters a lot.

Love this 💕. I already tested this feature to have the agent conduct competitive web research for a feature, analyze it and build UI in Figma with all that context. Fantastic addition @figma team. Designers watch the detailed demo here:

@nlevin credits go brrr just looking at the video

This new Figma design agent sounds like a game changer! Love the idea of integrating web search and direct content insertion—makes research and design so much more seamless. Excited to try it out!

@nlevin figma extension: train figma make for free with paid user. Figma design agent: burning more token, want use token? paid more for figma. => how figma make more money with AI

the easy part: grabbing references. the hard part: turning them into something that actually works in your product.

Just got it

Bring context management. Thanks!

the honest answer is that everyone's been waiting for this not just designers, but devs and founders too. it's a massive game-changer for rapid prototyping and collaboration

@miggi Even on the latest Figma desktop beta, I'm still waiting on these updates. Holding back features from eager users for so long isn't very democratic, it just creates an uneven playing field for designers.

is it live?

Search-backed design agents make files feel alive.

Service

Citations matter more than they look here. For design agents, the source trail is part of the review surface: what was searched, what was inserted, and why the file changed.

Your team is doing incredible work—super inspiring!

#1 Trying to get acquired by Figma, here's Oxima:

You gotta make it faster - the Agent is extremely slow now

bet it chokes on my 300 frame file

anything that reduces copy-paste chaos in design work is a win

the dev-designer handoff problem is mostly a communication problem, not a tooling problem. but if the design agent can pull real content and live data into frames, that gap gets a lot smaller. fewer placeholder text disasters making it into production. will actually try this before the next client kickoff.

Figma is evolving - In the right direction!! I mean wow, now corporations and organizations can reinvent their design systems and workflows without having to deal with a big migration to figma and feeding it everything from scratch. Smart!!

It doesn’t follow my variables, styles and components.

We can teach anyone figma, on figma.

Search inside the design workflow makes sense. The risky part is citation quality, because bad source context turns into polished wrong UI copy very quickly.

Figma agent + web search: prompt a URL, get cited content, drop it straight into your design

@figma my PC got water damage from the rain yesterday, please can you help a moving man 😭🙏

Pasting a URL and getting cited content straight into the file skips so much manual research and copy pasting

Figma, I have not opened Figma for 3 months. Where are you? Wake up 😉
