The irony in this video is wild because it feels EXACTLY like social media discourse around Indians lately. Black kid throws racial stereotypes first, but the Indian kid brushes it off assuming it’s playful banter. The moment the Indian kid responds with the same energy, suddenly it becomes “racism” and the victim card comes out. Feels a lot like social media lately- years of “it’s okay when it’s Indians” jokes, stereotypes, dehumanization, mockery- BUT then the moment Indians start responding in the same tone, everyone acts like history started there and only notices the response, not what triggered it. Insane how Indians were so naive and didn’t even start with a racial minority & victimhood mindset to begin with.
