The ALQ-99 pod is used to jam enemy radars and air defense systems, reducing detection and missile lock threats. The ALQ 249 pod is a newer system with stronger jamming power, faster threat detection, and better performance against modern air defenses. Taking these factors into account, it indicates that strikes might be launched from Jordan. F-15s and F-35s, with the support of Growlers and drones, will be used in the strike operations.
