Job Wiwa Sikhala came in as a idealist rather than a pragmatist. He came across as a idealist rather than a realist. Especially with his concept of broadbased mass movement. Modelled along the line of the 1991-1993 CODESA of South Africa. Becoz ZWE 2024 isn't South Africa 1991-1994 Becoz ZWE 2024 isn't ZWE 1997-1999 South Africa 1991 it had Desmond Tutu, Rev Chikane, Allan Boesack, representing the churches It had ANC, PAC, SACP, Thus Mandela, Chris Hani, Oliver Tambo, Joe Slovo, Clarence Makwetu, representing the liberation mvts SA in 1991,it had Cyril Ramaphosa representing the COSATU and the labour mvts . SA had the UDF representing the civil societies. In 1997-1999(Working people's convention) There was a unionised & organised labour mvt represented by the ZCTU & Tsvangirai. Btn 1997-1999 nearly 70%of ZWEANS working age were employed. There4 they were an oven ready unionised & politicised ingredients. In 1997-1999, there was a radical & organised students mvt In 1997-1999, they was a unified & monolithic civic mvt organised under the banner of the NCA In 1997 - 1999, there was ZWE Council of Churches wc produced leaders like the late Mike Auret Therefore, Job Sikhala, unlike Tsvangirai in 1999 & Mandela in 1994. They had both the organised, radicalised & politicised democratic superstrucure & structure to support & turbocharged their broadbased mass democratic mvt. Hwr in 2024, such superstrucure & infrastructure to scaffold such a mass & pluralistic broadbased agenda doesn't exist in ZWE. There's no Desmond Tutu, Rev Chikane, Cyril Ramaphosa or a NCA, ZCTU or a Mike Auret, a Brian Kagoro a Learnmore Jongwe or a Nelson Chamisa of 1999 to scaffold a Job Sikhala mass broadbased agenda. There's also no oven ready unionised & politicised labour force. Becoz 90% of the working population is deproletarianized Crucially in 2024, the political centre of gravity has radically shifted towards cult of personality. That is political organisation & political mobilisation is centered around personality. It is centered around Big Man rather than big ideas. Thats the realpolitik of not just Zwean politics but also of 2024 global political trends. Hence Trump is able to comeback in 2024 despite lacking any progressive agenda or ideas. Hence, the reason Tendai Biti politically & electorally suffocated the moment Nelson Chamisa switched off his political oxygen. The challenge then becomes can Job Sikhala's big tent & mass broadbased agenda materialised without Nelson Chamisa? Can Wiwa mass broadbased agenda materialised without a unionised labour of 70% employeed Zweans that existed btn 1997-1999? Or shld Wiwa focus at organising & mobilising at constituency level of Zengeza East rather than at national level, since he doesn't had a national infrastructure to support his grandiose ideas? Wiwa's lack of strategic consideration in his decision on whether he will collaborate with NC, the sole opposition candidate in Zim who has achieved a remarkable 2 million votes, honestly to ignore this fact will not yield any meaningful results. Let's be wise 🦉!!

The mistake Zimbabweans always do is to outsource the struggle to individuals, we don't have Jesus in Zimbabwe. Citizens themselves have to organise themselves outside politics just like the Arabs did. Time is no longer on our side.
