The worst part is that they are creating a bad first impression of autonomous cars.

Cruise cars are definitely reducing number of accidents in SF - and even more so, deadly accidents. It’s almost impossible to get into an accident, and more so to kill someone, when you’re stuck in one place. 😅

Every tech can have failures, however this central controlled autonomous is not really autonomous. How the heck can they claim it’s level 4, that’s totally wrong strategy

High definition mapping and LiDAR are not a scalable and intelligent solution. Their perception of the ever changing environment is limited.

tesla FSD would find a route arround and keep going. but yea, others are so "advanced" they cant do out of planed routing things like tesla does ;)

I wonder when the cruise lawsuit is going to happen in San Francisco for impeding traffic on the reg.

It does not look like they are going anywhere. Perhaps they all need a reboot?🤔

And they just expanded their operations to all of SF. Yet another reason to leave the city
