In case you were wondering, this is how it works. A towbarless aircraft tug is used to push an aircraft back from the gate. Instead of using a towbar, it drives up to the nose wheels, clamps them in place and lifts the nose landing gear slightly off the ground. The main landing gear stays on the ground at all times. Once secured, the tug controls the steering and carefully pushes the aircraft into position for taxi. Only a small part of the aircraft's weight rests on the nose gear which is why even large aircraft like the Boeing 777 can be moved safely and smoothly. After pushback, the tug lowers the nose wheels and disconnects, and the pilots continue taxiing.

Interestingly, they used a new tactic, where each drone would fly to a high altitude over the city, make large circles while slowly descending, before cutting off their engine and silently gliding to their target (example of this in media 3). This made it very difficult to detect the drones on approach to their targets. As a result of the strikes, large fires broke out at the impact sites. Additionally, 3-4 drones attacked targets in/near the city of Shostka.

One of the key kinetic variables we consider in a force analysis is called anterior-posterior force (or heel-toe force). Think of a golfer pushing frictionally against the ground, towards the target line with their lead leg and away from the target line with their trail leg. AP force is not only a meaningful contributor to clubhead speed, it also has a strong relationship to early extension. In order to prevent the pelvis from moving closer to the target line on the downswing, the lead leg needs to push considerably harder than the trail leg to drive the hip back (we often see over 2X AP force on the lead side vs the trail side in elite ball-strikers). As Newton outlines in his 3rd law, “for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.” In the case of this PGA TOUR player, the trail leg was pushing equal to the lead leg, resulting in him early extending.

Hezbollah built tunnels about 100 meters from UNIFIL in south Lebanon. They took years to build and were used to fire anti-tank missiles at Israeli civilians across the border the past year until Israeli soldiers invaded southern Lebanon. It's incomprehensible that UNIFIL didn't know about this. Hezbollah also built a network of trails in the bushes in the area we visited. 25 trails with some 700 weapons depots spread across them. They were intended to be used as launchpads for a major ground assault ala 7 October - just in northern Israel.

They took years to build and were used to fire anti-tank missiles at Israeli civilians across the border the past year until Israeli soldiers invaded southern Lebanon.
