Deadtime Stories (2012) is the kids’ horror show that nobody talks about, and that’s a shame. Jennifer Stone narrates this fun and creepy series through some REALLY wild moments. The episode ‘Along Came A Spider’ is a great example, with a giant killer spider that they first try to crush with the garage door Ghostface vs Tatum style, then just decide to pump it full of air until it blows away into the sky. It’s wacky but also just scary enough for kids dipping their toes into the genre!
