Strange answer from Rachel Reeves. She seems to imply the only way to up the defence budget is to take it from the most vulnerable ! Really ?

I fully agree with you here. I get the need for the defence spending but it shouldn’t be at the expense of the most vulnerable of society. It looks like it’s an attempt to get more people in work to save on the benefits bill but mostly to get as many people reaching that tax threshold. This is beyond reproach
