@alexsworking @UEGJournal I’ve never used “loose LES” myself and presume it refers to a loose hiatal aperture that intermittently opens up, which would be a Grade 2. I think Grade 1 is hard to diagnose as there is no visible hiatal aperture, just a longitudinal flap valve!

@alexsworking @UEGJournal Originally designed for the former but adopted by endoscopists to grade hiatus hernia (doesn’t quite work as Grade 1 is essentially normal without a HH)
