Last week near Crown Hill Lake, our deputies showed exactly what it means to step up. They arrived to a grass fire and did not wait around for someone else to handle it. They jumped into action, grabbed fire extinguishers from their vehicles, and stopped the fire from spreading. West Metro Fire Rescue arrived shortly after and took over, and we are grateful for their fast response and expertise.
