We have to change public pensions from defined benefit plans to defined contribution plans. The Illinois taxpayer should not be subject to these unsustainable and poorly run public pension programs.

I cannot understand how state government can have an outstanding pension liability that high. It is insane. That’s about $12k / Illinoisan.
