In just over a year of operation of our maritime export corridor, 70 million tons of cargo have already been transported. More than 2,500 ships have departed from Ukrainian ports. I met with Masud Gharahkhani, President of the Storting, and the leaders of political parties represented in the Norwegian Parliament. We deeply appreciate that all parties are united in their support for Ukraine. We discussed the consolidation of international support at the parliamentary level and the areas of our future cooperation. I informed the MPs on the diplomatic efforts to achieve peace, the vision for a future security architecture of Ukraine and Europe, and humanitarian efforts to bring our children home. I am grateful to the people of Norway for their assistance to Ukraine and to the Storting for its decision to allocate nearly $8 billion this year. This is truly a significant contribution to strengthening our nation.

Today I was in Dnipro and held a meeting with entrepreneurs of the Dnipro region — currently the number one region in terms of contribution to Ukraine’s GDP and in many other key economic areas. I thank everyone who is preserving and creating jobs in the region, everyone who is working for Ukraine and for the benefit of Ukraine. We will continue all government programs that have proven effective and that support our production and our economy. There is still more we can do to support our industry — I’ve instructed government officials to fulfill what the entrepreneurs have asked for today. Ukraine’s results are shared results — the achievements of all those who have chosen Ukraine, who are actively working for Ukraine, and who are ready to do whatever is necessary for our country to endure and achieve its goals. I thank everyone who stands with Ukraine.

I am preparing changes across our diplomatic efforts. We need a new quality of engagement with Ukraine’s partners to ensure the implementation of our agreements on weapons supplies. The agreements reached at the leaders’ level must be implemented much faster and in full. The U.S. and our agreement on licenses for the production of Patriots. Europe and our work to develop Europe’s own anti-ballistic capabilities, as well as other projects focused specifically on defensive cooperation. Also, the support packages for Ukraine that have been announced but, as of today, have not yet been delivered in full.

I thank Sweden for all its support for Ukraine – for our people and for our defense. Sweden is absolutely committed to protecting life, and we value this immensely. Today, we have a new support package for Ukraine, and the most important element of it is the Swedish Gripen fighter jets, which will strengthen our air force. Overall, this year, next year, and our future cooperation are all about building Ukraine’s fleet of Swedish Gripens. This will help us guarantee the security of Ukraine and Ukrainians. Today, the Ulf Kristersson and I also discussed the details of our cooperation across all other areas. I briefed him on the situation in Ukraine – on the battlefield and in our defense against Russian strikes. We need our own European antiballistic capabilities in sufficient quantity and with sufficient strength. We will work on this, including within the NB8 format – one of our most effective formats, bringing together Ukraine, the Nordic countries, and the Baltic states. I am also grateful to Sweden for all the sanctions steps – everything that limits Russia’s capacity for aggression.

At the end of the week, our team – together with American representatives – will continue to translate the points we secured in Geneva into a form that puts us on the path to peace and security guarantees. President Zelenskyy: Ukraine is open to discussing the issue of the Strait of Hormuz, but we are not involved at this stage, as no such request has been made. "Today, I do not see any country capable of lifting the blockade on its own - only joint efforts can deliver results. Ukraine has experience launching a grain corridor in the Black Sea despite Russia’s attempts to block the supply of food and other goods. The current situation is similar, but this time it concerns energy. Our proposal - based on our experience - is that the war and negotiations on reopening the Strait of Hormuz could proceed in parallel. It is worth trying to find a diplomatic solution, and this could be beneficial for both sides in the conflict. An alternative approach could be the establishment of unilateral control over the strait, similar to what Ukraine did with the grain corridor. This would require interceptors, military convoys to escort vessels, a large integrated electronic warfare network, and other tools. We are ready to help with this. Today, during our meeting with Dutch Prime Minister, we focused our discussion on strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, including new air defense systems and the missiles for them. We also talked about F-16s for Ukraine and all the necessary weapons for our defense against the Russian occupiers, including shells for our soldiers, essential equipment, and the protection of our energy infrastructure. I am grateful to the Netherlands for announcing a new assistance package for Ukraine. We also discussed the possibility of the Netherlands taking on a patronage role over Zaporizhzhia, which would involve supporting infrastructure, protecting normal life, and addressing humanitarian issues. This is something that will definitely help Ukraine, and we deeply appreciate all the support from the people of the Netherlands, from Prime Minister Schoof personally, and from all the political and public figures in the Netherlands. I thank everyone engaged in this effort. We are building up our own production, and this is essential. I also met with the Defense Ministers of partner countries who came to us on Independence Day. This is a great sign of solidarity with our warriors and with all Ukrainian people. We discussed the significance of developing Ukraine’s defense industry, cooperation in various formats, and security guarantees for Ukraine, which are crucial both for the future of our state and for the security of the entire Europe. I met with President of the National Council of Switzerland @MajaRiniker. I am grateful that this visit includes not only Kyiv but also other regions of our country. This is truly important. I met with President of the National Council of Switzerland @MajaRiniker. I am grateful that this visit includes not only Kyiv but also other regions of our country. This is truly important. We discussed the global situation, cooperation with partners, and Switzerland’s support and assistance. I am thankful for the decision to allocate 5 billion francs for the recovery of our country. We have many promising humanitarian projects that we can implement together with the help of these funds. We also touched upon the issue of abducted children.
