Zimbabwe does not have an internet problem because peering is FREE in Johannesburg, local pricing is artificially priced high because of "Maintenance Costs" Unfortunately, its alot harder to ran cable inland, its alot easier to ran the cable in the ocean because there is less regulation. If Zimbabwe can partner with Meta, Google, Huawei, Microsoft, and many other players for inland fibre, it will take less than a few months for us to have the best internet and over-the-top service. The biggest challenge is the Regulators and Gatekeepers.
