The interview closed with Rick reflecting on the system that nearly ended his life—and the one that saved it. ā€œI was being harmed when I was in Big Pharma medicine,ā€ he said. That all changed 51 years ago when a group of doctors spoke to him honestly. They didn’t...

ā€œFor a long time, I was a guest in our houseā€ Thierry Henry speaks from his soul. He has depth. He’s a man in touch with himself. I recall some years ago, he spoke about how much he wanted to please his father on Steven Bartlett Diary of a CEO podcast. Everything he aimed to achieve was to please the voice that rang in his head, telling him to do it better. His father stood behind him while he built a career, probably saw the good many never saw. As a father, he also mentioned how COVID-19 changed his life. It was the point he chose his family. That was probably why he said at some point, he became a guest in his house. Men become guests in their house. There was a Reminisce Alaga interview I saw. I think it was on ISaidWhatISaidPod. He said there was a point he went into his daughter(s) room and asked when they painted the wall pink. His wife told him it’s been there for two years. He said that was the point he thought it important to rest on the tours and be with his children. At that point, he probably was a guest in his house. Men’s lives are not easy. Footballers especially — elite footballers most especially are like tour musicians. They’re often on the road. You’re playing away games round the country, spending three days or more away from home when you have continental away games. Gabriel Jesus spoke about the same thing in his recent interview with The Players’ Tribune titled ā€œA Letter to My Family and my Arsenal Familyā€. He said football made him distant but his ACL injury brought him closer. ā€œI wasn’t the husband and father that I needed to be,ā€ he said. When his wife gave birth to his daughter, he said he only held her for one day. Brazil called and he had to go. And he was a guy who grew up without a father. For his child at the time, he was there now but wasn’t there too. ā€œI always promised myself: When I become a father, I will always be there for my kids. ā€œWhen Helena was born, I was not living up to that. I was there, but I was always distracted, you know? Always catching a flight.ā€ That’s the tough decisions men have to make sometimes. At the point of growth and ascent, life will ask questions, and difficult decisions will need to be made. Hopefully, it will be one that won’t damage the future. The future one is securing.

BOOM! I LEFT MAGA: Finally, a lady on a pro-Trump live asked him: ā€œAre there a couple of big reasons in your mind that you didn’t like?ā€ He looked at the camera and said: ā€œWell, I like to paraphrase the late Ernest Hemingway in saying that my epiphany happened gradually and then suddenly all at once. And there were several reasons that led me to eventually leave.ā€ Then this ultra-MAGA guy detonated truth bombs that are breaking the internet. He was a Republican his whole life. When Trump took office in 2016, he went full MAGA—never blinked. Then he started listening to both sides. He said: ā€œI realized I’ve been lied to. All you have to do is open your eyes and see both sides, and it quickly dawns on you. A lot of people just don’t want to hear the truth. They don’t want to face the fact that they’ve been lied to this whole time. Who wants to be the dummy?ā€ He used to think Jan. 6 was ā€œoverplayed.ā€ He thought Proud Boys and Oath Keepers were political prisoners. Then he saw the court docket. Trump’s own lawyers never argued it wasn’t real—they argued he should be immune because he was president. They admitted it happened. They just said he shouldn’t be held accountable. And MAGA was still screaming ā€œit was a setup.ā€ He said: ā€œI couldn’t go along with that.ā€ Then one night, lying in bed, he put two and two together. He said: ā€œIt’s right there. You have to purposely not want to believe it.ā€ He realized Democrats aren’t demons. Republicans aren’t fiscally responsible—they’re the ones burning cash while blaming everyone else. He said the fear was so loud it blinded him to the fact they delivered nothing. MAGA will call him a RINO. But that’s just because you can’t handle a man who got tired of being lied to. The truth is quiet. But once you hear it, you can’t unhear it. Welcome back to reality.

Denzel Washington’s epic monologue towards the end of Training Day was largely improvised on set. Director Antoine Fuqua was so blown away by his performance, he says he thinks he "forgot to yell cutā€. He explains… ā€œThat’s Denzel. He was just in his zone. I mean, that was one of those moment...people talk about AI. Those are the moments where you go...it's a great tool. It's gonna be a great tool, I think...but the emotion, and the moment that an actor can bring - you can't predict that. That's something that's just inside of Denzel. And when that came out, I was just like - I hope I got it. I just turned to my operator - who was shaking- I looked over at the guy - I was like, ā€œplease tell me you got that.ā€ Because that was the take. That was it. There was no other take - I mean, how do you tell an actor like that, that that wasn't good enough? …He walked over to me, and he just had this look in his eyes. I was like, ā€œyou good?ā€ He said, ā€œyou good?ā€ I said, ā€œYeahā€¦ā€ Some of that was in the script, but he flipped it the way he did it. "Putting cases on all you." He kind of added some things in there. And then he just went into a whole other zone with the whole King Kong thing- with Pelican Bay - Denzel started that. That was Denzel. That was him, man. He just kind of lit up, and I think I forgot to yell cut. I was just watching it, because everybody started walking away, and I'm just watching him, and then he lights a cigarette - and he's talking - and I'm just watching him. I think at some point he probably looked at me like, you going to cut? And I'm like, ā€œoh yeah, yeah, cut.ā€ He was still in it. That's the thing with Denzel. He was so Alonso…I'm just watching him for a while because I didn't know what else he was going to do. It was just so magical. And then I think he looked up at me and I was like, ā€œOkay, cut, cut.ā€

He died for all the guilt and shame that you've carried through the years. He loves you when you're broken, when you're weak - even when you turn your back to Him - when you feel you're not good enough and have nothing to give. He loves YOU - He DIED for YOU! He willingly laid His life down for you - for your sins. He faced anguish, sorrow, betrayal, and pain while He was beaten - pain caused by the crown of thorns. He was disfigured. He experienced the worst pain a human could have ever gone through while He was dying on the cross! You need to see and understand what He went through - otherwise you will never fully comprehend how much He has loved you! When He died on the cross He carried all humanity's past, present and future sins! He did it out of LOVE -willingly- to give us a new life to YOU and me!! That cross was our place! That pain was ours to bear, that blood was ours to shed, that sin was ours to die for! BUT Jesus endured it ALL to rescue us, to save us, to redeem us, so we could have eternal life! "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) " No one takes my life from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father" (John 10:18) Believe and put your trust in Him and what He did during His life here on earth! He's coming soon for His Church! We're living the last seconds of the Church's Grace! Hear Him calling you!! Receive Him while you can!!! Cut ties with this world - choose life - and enter into the Kingdom of God!

Seth Rogen reveals The Interview used a real tiger because the CGI was too expensive, then the tiger wrangler started asking terrifying questions I did a movie called The Interview about North Korea, and there’s a scene with a tiger. I directed the movie with my partner, and we wrote this scene where there’s a tiger. I thought in my head it would be CG. Life of Pi had come out recently, and I was like, ā€œWe’ll get the Life of Pi tiger. Put us down for one Life of Pi.ā€ They were like, ā€œWe can’t afford that at all. We’ve got to get a real tiger.ā€ I was like, ā€œOh God.ā€ So we found a tiger wrangler in Calgary, and we had a call with him. It was so funny because he was the least confidence inspiring person you’ve ever spoken to in your entire life. I asked, ā€œWhere’d you get the tiger?ā€ He said, ā€œFrom a stripper.ā€ We were like, ā€œWhat?ā€ He said, ā€œShe had a tiger cub as part of her act, and it got too big, so she had to get rid of it.ā€ We asked, ā€œWhere does a stripper get a tiger?ā€ He said, ā€œIt’s easier than you think. You could get one.ā€ We had sent him the script, and he said, ā€œLet’s go over the scene. You’re not shooting this at night, are you?ā€ I said, ā€œYeah, the scene is set at night.ā€ He said, ā€œOoh.ā€ I asked, ā€œWhy is that bad?ā€ He said, ā€œWell, they hunt at night.ā€ He asked, ā€œCan it be during the day?ā€ We said, ā€œNo. Is that okay?ā€ There was a long pause, and he said, ā€œYeah, it’s okay. I think it’s okay.ā€ Then he asked, ā€œIt won’t be in a big open area, will it?ā€ We said, ā€œYeah, it’s basically a giant meadow.ā€ He said, ā€œOoh.ā€ We asked, ā€œIs that bad?ā€ He said, ā€œWell, if there’s a deer or something, they will go after it.ā€ We said, ā€œThat’s bad. Should we not do this?ā€ He said, ā€œNo, it’s fine.ā€ Then he asked, ā€œIt won’t be raining, will it?ā€ We said, ā€œYeah. We’re filming in Vancouver in the winter. It will be raining.ā€ He said, ā€œOh, that’s not good.ā€ We asked, ā€œWhy?ā€ He said, ā€œThe rain really agitates them. They just don’t like the rain.ā€ We asked, ā€œShould we not do it?ā€ He said, ā€œNo, it’s fine. It’ll be fine.ā€

This man was criticized for expecting a ā€œthank youā€ for a good deed. He always saw the same man walking when he drove to work. He assumed the man was walking because he did not have any other means of transportation. He used his own money and bought the man an electric scooter, the man took the scooter and just silently walked away, no thank you or anything else at all. I don’t think that was too much to ask, a thank you goes a long way, otherwise it makes people look ungrateful. Back in college, I had a classmate that I always saw walking home after class. It didn’t matter whether it was raining or snowing, or hot out. Whenever I drove past him he always looked miserable and I could tell he didn’t like to walk all the time. In class I had asked him where he lived, and I found out it was on my way home so I offered to drop him off because it was really cold out and had snowed about a foot. He agreed and we chatted on the way home, nothing serious just pleasant conversation. I dropped him off and went on my way home. For me this was a one time thing, I only offered because how bad it was snowing. After class the next day, he walked with me and when I got to my car he got in. I didn’t agree or offer him a ride that day but he assumed that since I was ok with giving him a ride the day prior that I would be ok with it this day too. I didn’t say anything about it because at this point I didn’t care really. So the next day came and went, once again he walked with me to the car but that day was different. I wouldn’t be going his way because I had to work after class. So before I got to the car I said ā€œI’ll see you tomorrow.ā€ He looked dumbfounded and said aren’t you taking me home? I said no, I have to get to work. He then asked me how he would get home, and I told him the same way you always have. He then gave me excuses for why I was being a jerk because I was making him walk in the cold. I didn’t argue I just told him I helped him out when I could, but I wasn’t about to go out of my way because he didn’t have a car and besides I didn’t want to be late for work. He didn’t speak to me for the rest of the semester because of it, something tells me I was better off not offering to help in the first place.
