The iPhone Duo’s hinge is so well engineered that even under harsh sunlight, you can barely spot the crease. Samsung has been making foldables for years and still treats a giant crease like its parts of Galaxy Experience 💀

Wait for few months for real world test... It will make a crease visible

This is a real world test conducted under intense sunlight.

I meant atleast 1-2k open close by normal non sponsored humans

So, in just a few days, we've gone from "absolutely no crease" to "barely spot it." Let's wait a month and see...

Yeah it’s so good that not only can’t you see the crease but you can’t even see the content in the screen 😂

Cool if you don't need to see what's on the screen but yeah, you can barely see it. 😂

It's using an anti reflective coating on the screen therefore making the crease not visible in the sunlight but the crease is still visible in other lighting situations, besides Samsung built the screen 😉

The matte screen is worst than the crease

Yeah, you can't see the crease. Or anything that the phone is showing. Jesus christ, that's the thing that sucks about a matte screen, diffusion of sunlight means you can't see a goddamn thing on your phone.

They used a matte finish so the screen doesn’t look as glossy, just to hide the crease. Another problem — the more precise something is, the more you have to think about repairs later. What if you drop it? Or what if it lands right on that damn hinge?

That's why in my opinion, AppleCare+ is important for Duos.

No no no, gripping it tighter would work better than anything. But then it loses the whole point of being a tool — you end up becoming a tool that has to look after the phone.

and the matte pot hole filler on there. can barely read the screen hahah

That screen looks like a 200$ IPS screen phone with that matte finish

Well, samsung made that display lol 😂. Apple pays Samsung $250 for every iPhone Duo sold 🤣

So, why didn't they use it on their own $1800 phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 8?

Passport style - copied Flex mode- copied In-word style fold- copied Add glass effect while folding and unfolding and change the dock to right side- biggest innovation

Can barely spot the screen. 🤣

Okay apple fanboy

Samsung is the supplier for the screens on the Apple duo

Then why didn't they use the same screen on their 2000$ Z fold8 or Z fold8 ultra

Read the consumer reports

That matte screen made the crease and the content invisible under sunlight

On the iPhone, the crease is less noticeable due to the matte screen.

Also you can't see the screen at all either lol

Dude it’s the mat layer on the screen. Nothing more. It’s a design choice. Stop pretending like Apple has invented some new tech to solve the crease issue. You Apple glazers are truly pathetic.

Hope Samsung will wake up and work harder to embarrass Apple in social media

Its called an anti reflective coating, it has been on steam deck for years. Apple has not reinvented the wheel unfortunately, Samsung fold 8 has the same coating and has the same amount of crease. People are just sheep and like to consume and get overcharged

@ZacksJerryRig is the only reliable source to speak anything about iPhone duo crease

The hinge has nothing to do with the creases visibility. It's all the matt plastic

Why the screen looks so bad?

I'm using the z fold 8 right now. There's no crease when you hold it right in front of you

I'm not sure if you realize this, but under direct sunlight it looks like that inner display is completely invisible.

Because it's matt in nature

All that happened here is proof that their screens are fked and have zero visibility in the sun 🌞

The crease is such a non-issue

苹果也是用的三星生产的屏幕
