Animating Gaussian Splats: If you have an object that has a hinge-like movements (like robotic joints) you can easily split the model up into separate parts and animate each as a full object. Tried it on this incredible scan by Dany Bittel it's a bit janky but still so fun!

I have to keep re-subscribing to Suno cause it keeps getting better As always not affiliated, not paid, I just like it I used to make Drum & Bass ages ago professionally so this is very fun to try Their new model is Suno 5.5 and the coolest thing is they have a Studio, so you generate a song first, then you click Studio, you select your song, you select Split Stems and you get each music layer separate so Drums, Bass, Synth, Vocals etc. That's when it gets fun cause you can edit the song like you'd make a real song in a DAW (like real music production software) You can add filters like low pass, high pass etc and much more, I haven't even tried everything, but it's really fun Adding the Studio part is great because it adds more human direction to AI sounds, the Suno sounds are now good enough I think, like a Drum & Bass snare sounds punchy and solid, but it still lacks some overall composition/direction which a human can add here Very cool!!

We knew we wanted to build an object oriented language. We wanted managed code or byte code so we could target different runtime environments. We wanted garbage collection and exception handling, but also things like a unified object system where, and that's true in C#, anything can be assigned to an object. If it's a value type, we box it. And it's a self-describing object. So, reflection: you can ask an object, ‘what are you’? And you can get all of the facts about it at runtime, and you can dynamically manipulate it in ways that just don't exist in a lot of other environments. We wanted a language that made this new model of properties, methods and events first class because that was how components were built as opposed to just sort of functions and procedures and even objects. And we wanted to create a language that was standardised. We wanted to give this language to a standardisation committee and try to level the playing field there. 🚗 Tried to make my first voxel-based game ever with bolt.new It's my first time really using Bolt, you get your regular prompt window on the left side, but any updates to your project are immediately visible on the right side as a browser I think it's much easier for non-tech people because you don't need to switch to your browser to test, and because you skip the whole deployment step, you just click Publish or say publish and it's up as a site My game here is inspired by Teardown, that game that's built up by voxel blocks where you can destroy everything, it's somehow so satisfying to destroy every wall and object But I wanted to do it as a race game, but then I thought why not make it like demolition derby where the goal is to crash into each other? And parts of your car fly off etc. So 🚗 Voxel Derby was born It took a bit to get everything right and you still have to direct it to get what you want, like the engine sound was quite basic and then I told it "okay add gears" and then suddenly it sounded realistic, that kind of stuff But it actually built a performant voxel-based game pretty easily, I'm impressed Tomorrow I'll try add multiplayer just with Bolt, no idea if it can do, it'd have to spin up some server for that but we'll see if it works 😊

Wouldn't it be cool to interact with real objects in #MixedReality? For instance, doing a simple action like pouring water into your glass and making it become magical with augmentations? I think it would and that's why I made an opensource Unity plugin to make it happen. Currently, mixed reality headsets do not offer object tracking and we have no camera access to implement it ourselves. But I had an idea: since we interact with objects with our hands, why can't we just track the hands to infer the pose of the object we are holding? I tried to carry on this idea and after a few weeks,open-sourceand fully I came up with this opensource plugin that lets you do exactly this. It is an alpha, it has a lot of problems, also because the tracking of the hands becomes a bit glitchy when you are holding an object, but you can already do nice things with it. And it's full opensource and cross-platform (I used AR Foundation), so you can have fun with it however you want. It's a gift I give to the community. We just launched a generative craft system inside Marble App. Kids can now create anything and turn it into a 3D object on their map. It's designed to be realistic, so kids have to use their brain to make things happen. It works like this: 1) You describe or sketch what you want to build 2) Marble creates a blueprint you can iterate on 3) You pick the resources and tools you think you need to make it (if you have them) 4) Marble crafts the object. If the build is successful and you can drop it on your map! Since you can create your own tools, there is no limit to what you can build with this system. So excited to see what kids make with it!

Depending on the task or the object being grasped, it can autonomously switch between left-hand and right-hand configurations, bend in reverse, and achieve degrees of freedom beyond a human hand,maximizing the efficiency of a single hand. it comes from a company in Jiangsu called ChangingTek Robotics. You could say the hand is a bit like an octopus,but it isn’t soft. It’s rigid and capable of gripping tools like wrenches, screwdrivers, drinks, and basically almost any object.

📢 I’m testing ViggleAI new AI tool, PINOC, and it’s seriously impressive. You can create 3D Gaussian splatting models from just one image and animate them with a video! It’s the first AI I’ve tried that can animate Gaussian splatting models. I also talked to someone from Viggle, and they might add the option to import your own Gaussian splatting models and animate them. If that happens, I’ll probably make a video tutorial showing how to boost the detail level of a Gaussian splatting model by 4x to create highly realistic animated characters.

RedNova: From Arbitrary File Write to Command Execution Using COM in Windows Months ago, I wrote a post ( about the unique method used in the RedSun exploit to turn a file write into command execution by using a COM object that can be triggered by a low-privileged user and runs as SYSTEM. In that post, I mentioned that there are other COM objects that can be used in the same way. I presented one object called CoFilterPipeline and noted that it needs some tricks before it can be weaponized. Now I've written a full blog post on how you can find such objects and how you can weaponize them in exploits like RedSun. The video below shows another COM object with the same behavior (windows 11). It's called PerceptionSimulationCoClass. A low-privileged user can activate it, and it runs as SYSTEM. The video doesn't contain any exploit (it just replaces the COM server as administrator). The goal is only to demonstrate how a file write can be turned into command execution as SYSTEM while being triggered by a low-privileged user.

oh may.. 3D Gaussian Splat is so crazy now last time we need weeks to turn a room into a 3D model.. now with AI 3DGS, you do it in seconds… even zoom into the text and looks perfect give it like 6 months… you can turn a whole city into a full detailed 3D model
