The Jalisco New Generation cartel has released a video declaring war against the La Familia cartel of Michoacan. The truce between them, which was concluded about three years ago, has finally been broken. Clashes have resumed in the states of Michoacan and Guerrero.

These guys are becoming formidable foes. They're getting very experienced in strategic maneuvering through violence of action. They understand battlefield placement requires putting your elements into positions of advantage. They are getting better at it. This is a problem.
