The signs are bold enough. Marriage has nothing good that outweighs the risks. Peace, freedom, and real options exist outside it. If you still can’t see that, enjoy the trap.

A Palestinian mother teaches her daughters that shooting Israelis and Americans in the head is a good thing. How can anyone actually believe you can make peace with them?

Today, we gather in Rome to mark the beginning of the pontificate of Pope Leo XIV. Since his election, His Holiness has carried a profound message of peace. Peace sustained through understanding and perseverance. It is a message that resonates deeply, across the world, and especially in our continent. In Europe, we know that peace cannot be taken for granted. It must be crafted, tended, and cherished. As Pope Leo XIV embarks on his magisterium, let us walk with him in his vision: Peace as a miracle we are all called to shape.

I had a productive meeting with the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Jean-Noël Barrot Jean-Noël Barrot. I thank France for its support of the Victory Plan—points that can truly bring good faith diplomacy and a just peace closer. We will be grateful to France for collaborating with our other partners to ensure that we share the vision: that only a fair end to the war can guarantee lasting peace. I extend my gratitude to all of French society and President Macron for supporting our defense.

It is truly remarkable how today’s media operates, and how the so-called “virality” can so easily distort reality. A sentence spoken in good humor, in the spirit of friendship, suddenly turns into a worldwide headline of an entire summit among dozens of nations, while all the rest, the real substance, becomes irrelevant. But yes, it was good fun today to be with my old friend Ilham Aliyev and, in the presence of our dear common friend Emmanuel Macron, to refer to a slip of President Trump that even Albania managed to make peace with Azerbaijan, while Emmanuel himself worked tirelessly, for a long time, to bring peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia. A lighthearted remark, a friendly moment. Of course, no issue if it spreads, but to twist it into political venom is simply unfair. So let us set the record straight: The truth is that President Trump has shown himself to be a leader who restored the word ‘peace’ to the vocabulary of the West after many years. And yes, in a remarkably short time, he has achieved peace where others tried but failed and he continues to pursue it tirelessly. That exchange was nothing more than a moment of good humor among people who are, in fact, among President Trump’s greatest admirers.

🇺🇸🫱🏻‍🫲🏼🇷🇺 Trump’s invitation to Putin to join ‘Board of Peace’ is very important because it is one of the most powerful peace bodies - Congresswoman Luna said. The ‘Board of Peace’ could potentially replace the UN, Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna further shared with me. “I think it also is important to note that the fact that the President invited President Putin to actually be on the Peace Board is actually incredibly important, because he said it's one of the most powerful [peace bodies],” Luna said. “It [the Board of Peace] will potentially replace the United Nations,” the Congresswoman added. Luna highlighted that the US “does not necessarily like what the UN does.” Earlier today, President Donald Trump said that he wants all nations where people have control and power to be represented in the Board of Peace, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Trump also added that Putin had accepted his invitation to join the Board of Peace initiative aimed at resolving global ‍conflicts.

Ursula keeps ‘warming’ Ukrainians who’ve been sitting for weeks without electricity and heat due to the constant Russian attacks with fairy tales about a ‘just peace’ — something nobody has ever actually seen in all of human history. And by the time Ukraine finally gets that ‘just peace’, there might not be any Ukraine left to make peace with.
