Earlier this week, I sent President Trump a letter encouraging him to give the ultimate gift to the American people by calling for the adoption of a Balanced Budget Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Call it the “Trump Amendment”! The correct pathway to this goal is for Congress to propose an Amendment which passes each chamber with a two-thirds majority that would then be ratified by three-fourths of the states. It's an idea that may seem impossible in today's political gridlock, but I can't think of a more bipartisan issue than preserving American prosperity for future generations. Let’s get this done!

January 6, 2021 was the day the challenges were to be made regarding the peculiar vote tally during election month, 2020. Challenges were made but stopped from reaching the floor at 1:07 pm. In order to do so, they needed a crisis. This allowed Pelosi to unilaterally shut down that Session of Congress and along with shutting down that Session the challenges ended.. when she reconvened Congress to count the electoral college votes, the challenges were no longer on the agenda .. it was a new Session. They planned this very carefully
