The Left-liberals who hate and abuse Hinduism know they cannot attack it directly and so they attack Hindutva instead, conveniently ignoring Supreme court's assertion that Hindutva is the essence of Hinduism and signifies Indian culture. My views on why Himanta Biswa Sarma is correct:

@himantabiswa Repeat after me — Hindutva is nothing but Hinduism that resists. Hindutva must be preserved for the long term well-being of Bharat.

@himantabiswa Thought-provoking. Hindutva's meaning is debated and used per convenience - cultural essence or political ideology?

They pick on Hindutva, dressing it up as a political boogeyman, all while hoping no one notices the fact that their selective outrage reeks of bad faith. They’re not just attacking an idea - they’re waging a shadow war on India’s very identity. And that’s a fight they’ll never win.

@himantabiswa When was the last time Marxists showed respect for Pagans? Perhaps before Karl Marx was born.

Anandji, you are absolutely right. After Mahakhumb Mela and Isha (satguru) gatherings on Mahashivratri leftist, kabal, khan market, vampanthis, congress, SP other will pull their socks up and target Hinduisum and Sanatanis more vocally. Hindu religion followers or practising should open their eyes b4 its late. Your quotes and answers in debates are full of truth.

Great to see Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma’s clarity on Hindutva, backed by the Supreme Court’s take on it as the essence of Indian culture not enmity. Yet, it’s a fine line between accepting diversity with grace and rejecting anything that doesn’t fit the phrase of a singular ideology. True strength lies in that balance.

Mahua Moitra & J Sai Deepak's Fiery Exchange Over Hindutva & Hinduism “Hindutva Exists Because…” The Debate 2026 by the Calcutta Debating Circle sets the stage for a charged and unfiltered clash on one of India’s most polarising questions: “Hinduism Needs Protection From Hindutva.” A fiery face-off between TMC MP Mahua Moitra and legal scholar J Sai Deepak as they lock horns over faith, politics, identity, and the future of Indian democracy. Sharp arguments, ideological fault lines, and no easy answers. This is a debate that cuts to the core of contemporary India. Moitra took jibes at her senior Swapan Da, which obviously people found uncalled for and not funny at all. J Sai Deepak, opposing the motion, he argued that Hinduism actually needs protection from secularism, rather than Hindutva. He challenged the narrative that Hindutva began with V.D. Savarkar in 1923. Instead, he traced its roots to 19th-century Bengal (1860s–1909) as an “organic Shakta response” to colonial invasion, citing figures like Bankim Chandra Chatterjee and Sri Aurobindo. He countered claims that Hindutva is “hyper-masculine” or strictly “Brahminical vegetarian,” asserting that Bengali masculinity and Shakta traditions (which include offerings of meat and alcohol) are foundational to Hindutva. J Sai Deepak argued that Hindutva is a civilizational necessity that translates into a political vision, and that it is unconstitutional to deny political representation to Hindutva while allowing it for other ideologies like communism. The event featured sharp rebuttals against co-debaters Mani Shankar Aiyar and Mahua Moitra. He accused Aiyar of conflating Hindutva solely with Savarkar and questioned Moitra on whether she had similar critiques for non-Hindu worldviews. The debate, which also featured Sudhanshu Trivedi and Ashutosh, concluded with the audience overwhelmingly voting against the motion, supporting J Sai Deepak's stance. In no way Moitra could’ve matched J Sai, nowhere near and totally decimated. Credit : ANI.

Hindutva Procession Leicester 25/08/25… On Monday, footage came out of a procession of saffron, Hanuman covered flags through the streets of a Muslim-majority area in Leicester. These flags are associated with the Bajrang Dal, a militant group part of the family of organisations headed by the RSS or Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. It is despicable that we are seeing these flags and this procession anywhere, let alone here. This is reminiscent of what we saw in 2022 in Leicester before the riots broke out in the same spot. So this is a situation to watch closely. This is not Hinduism, this is Hindutva, the political ideology of Hindu supremacy and nationalism, which seeks to stamp out India's non-Hindu, particularly but not only Muslim, culture, heritage, and peoples, and also falsely position my beautiful faith, culture, tradition of Hinduism as a monolithic, exclusionary identity, which could not be further from the truth. Hinduism is by definition a pluralistic, diverse, syncretic tradition. There is no place for the Bajrang Dal, any related organisation, or any related symbolism on the streets of Leicester, the UK, or anywhere. This is a genocidal ideology that will be defeated. The excuse being given is that this was to mark Ganesha Chaturthi, the festival celebrating Ganesha's birthday. This is obviously ridiculous — if these were good-faith celebrations then why are they brandishing flags of Hanuman with no Ganesha iconography? Why were they brandishing flags associated with the violent Bajrang Dal? And why did they carry out their unauthorised procession exactly where the riots of 2022 began in a Muslim-majority area? The truth is obvious. This is blatant intimidation and provocation. #interfaith #multifaith #harmony #Hindu #Hinduism #Muslim #Islam #unity #HinduMuslimUnity #solidarity #community #peace #Hindutva #NoToHindutva Hindus for Human Rights UK Hindus for Human Rights DOAM
