Have you never played hockey Nick? This down low 1v1 drill is a staple of probably 90% of all minor hockey teams starting from U8 or U9 hockey. It is a basic compete drill, puck protection, leverage etc. It is no where near a unique drill. Wow!

Not unique at all, extremely common.

I do this drill with my house league squirt kids that can barely skate 😂

Nick, Visit one of the hundreds of rinks in Toronto and you’ll send minor hockey coaches doing this drill over and again.

Literally see this drill ALL the time in minor hockey, so can't be that unique.

Board battles are crucial in hockey. Small area games are excellent for development
