JUST IN: Los Angeles authorities are currently carrying out potentially the largest animal rescue operation in United States history. L.A. officials are reportedly removing an estimated 700 dogs and cats from a property in Antelope Valley. According to investigators, the animals were in the care of Christine De Anda of Rock N Pawz animal rescue. During the search, about 400 dogs and 300 cats were found. Dozens of LA County Department of Animal Care and Control staff members and mutual aid partners arrived at the scene and provided medical aid to the animals. Safe Animal Shelter is the oldest “No Kill” animal shelter in Clay County, FL! The road closure is expected to last for 18 months!!!! This is terrible. This is shocking. A protester has been arrested outside Hartshead Meats today. The police officers were already well aware of the motivations for this protest, and the only intention has been to raise awareness about the recently exposed torture of cows inside. Recent hidden-camera footage shows Hartshead workers of various backgrounds committing egregious acts of cruelty to animals inside the facility. The protesters’ focus has always been on the treatment of animals and the conduct inside the slaughterhouse, not on anyone’s race or religion. Adding to this madness, to our knowledge, not a single Hartshead worker has been charged in relation to the horrors captured on the hidden-camera footage, yet a peaceful protester has now been arrested. This appears to be serious overreach by these officers. At the time of posting, the protester is still in police custody.

Major Incident is Unfolding in Leeds This Evening as Police Car Overturned During Serious Disorder At 5pm today (Thursday), police were called to an ongoing disturbance at an address in Luxor Street, Harehills, #Leeds. Officers attended and found an ongoing disturbance which involved some agency workers and some children. More people started to attend the location and a decision was made to remove the agency workers and the children to a safe place. A crowd started to gather and more officers were requested to attend the area, where some pockets of disorder were occurring. More officers have been deployed to the area to assist with the management of this incident. Some road closures are also being implemented and people are advised to avoid the area at this time. No injuries have been reported and enquiries are ongoing at the scene.
