I'm running a limited 25% launch discount! Get it while it's hot 🔥

killer starter kit for elixir/phoenix! looks super advanced love this cli-first approach waiting you on whenever it helps man🔥

Thanks @SaidAitmbarek will be posting on it today 💪🏼

@codestirring, damn a phoenix kit with rate limiting already built in? been there with the whole "why is everything burning" situation lol. does it actually have decent monitoring dashboards or just basic stuff?

@thegrowthcoder It prevents spam across different routes and general endpoint hits. The monitoring dashboard is a great idea I’ll look at adding that to a new update

Let’s goooo! Purchased Great job on this!

💜

What tech stack are you using?

Elixir, Phoenix, Postgres

Bought and just attempting to get it up and running. I'm on windows and needed to install C++ build tools to get bcrypt_elixir compiling. I can't get anything using duckdb to build unfortunately, says the build tools are missing even though I installed them.

That would be the analytics generator which should be easy to remove. Remove phoenix_analytics, the config for it and the route configuration and try again. I've never tried doing any Elixir development on non-unix systems though so not sure about specific windows issues!

Looks like the error tracker and the LLM integration also use duckdb. I followed the instructions it suggests but no luck unfortunately

That's odd - I don't believe the error tracker uses duckdb - may have to remove that too sadly. Though it works for me and I've deployed it without any duckdb dependencies in my application tree

Yea I might try using wsl2 and running the generator that way instead.

Does it support base camp like subdomains for tenants?

Absolutely - not out of the box but changing the router to handle subdomains would be very simple. In my research most people didn’t want that so I didn’t do that as the standard for multitenancy

Cool, a note in the readme or a ready to merge branch would be helpful. Like petal pro guys did for uuid (btw, something really useful as well)

As in using UUID as primary keys? That's the default here with the built in Schema file that automatically sets that for all your schemas

Awesome, I always use uuid as pk.

The only way 💪

Do you support PPP?

There is Postgres only version of Phoenix Analytics btw, did you try it?

I did - having the package in your deps still tries to start a duckdb application which errors out in

Eager to test? 😅

Ooooh - yes I am, will have a look and integrate into PhoenixSaaSKit asap

Let me know how it goes, happy to assist / support

Hi Chris, trying to get Promptly support - it appears I need to buy a subscription to message you for support. Could you DM me? The app keeps crashing... Is it still being developed or supported? I just bought it.

Hi Chris, congrats 💪🏽 Before I buy it, any feedback from Windows users ? Do you have a roadmap or something to follow / propose features? Thanks !

For the database, are those modules supported with Oracle?

Not 100% sure what you mean - it's using the Ecto Postgres adapter out of the box - you can swap the adapter to something else so long as it's compatible with Ecto and the subsequent features that might rely on it, like Oban etc.

I am considering two use cases where the app database had to be Oracle

This exists which should be usable - I have no experience with it though so I can't guarantee it

Do you support PPP?

Where are you based?

Somalia

DM'd you

how do updates work? will it be continually updated?
