And it goes and does it. How does it do it? It goes on all the travel sites and finds the best price and books it. That kind of makes the travel sites worth less, because you’re not going to Booking or Expedia directly anymore. You’re not their customer anymore. Your AI agent is the customer… For Booking, what’s the switching moat? I go on the Booking website and I book a trip. So now I don’t go on the Booking website. My agentic AI finds the best deal. That kind of makes the online travel companies worth less. I think it’s a little early, but I think that’s a possibility.” The moat he is questioning is a habit moat: you open the site, you compare, you book. An agent that queries every site and books the best price does not need that habit. The customer relationship moves from the site to the agent. The ads that paid for the traffic move with it. That is a different problem from software a company already runs on. ServiceNow sits inside the workflow. Constellation’s businesses sit inside a specific operation, with the data, the staff, and the switching cost already in place. An agent can shop a flight.
